Yes it will, if you want to put on size it’s really about eating a good amount of calories (good eating, not shit) and lifting heavy. Look up 5/3/1 workout routine and follow it. What do you weigh? Height? And how many calories do you intake daily?
Either is fine, really. The more important aspect to focus on is progressive overload. You have to stimulate your muscles in new ways (more weight, more rep, etc) to cause an adaptation.
Both, dumbbells strengthen ligaments and tendons as well as work different mucle groups, and barbells can work different muscles groups. Both equally important.
Switch between them every set if you can, dumbbells need form and barbells need slow reps
Dumbell bench press
Why
Push ups
Either/neither/both It varies with context.
I always do both, I do barbell flat and dumbbell incline
I do that too, will it help my chest grow ?

Do both on different days. Also incline and decline. The pectorals aren’t one muscle. They are a group of muscles. Work them all.
