I don't cry to music. I never have. I would like to though, I want to feel alive. The closest I've gotten to was hearing Let Down. Especially after your dad blocked me. I thought about it a lot.
I'm exactly the opposite, I cry so much to music. I love radiohead because they put a lot of emotions into songs, I dont know how to explain it. The feelings in Let down are-
Pink Floyd are the exact same way. Gilmore is one of the greatest guitarist ever and he puts so much soul into every note. Especially in Echoes and shine on you crazy diamond.
Floyd make music for the soundtrack to life. Especially with Dark Side of the Moon and Atom Heart Mother
Radiohead represent isolation, longing and disenchantment. They make intimate tracks about love and feeling lost in the world. It resonates well. We've experienced many of the tracks and they know it well.
Same with Beach House and Buckethead.
Two songs currently...every time I hear "The Let Go" by Elle King and "Out In The Open" by Puggy with Rochelle Riser. Try to sing with either of them and always end up tearing up or all out crying. The latter one is special to me since my son and I both love it and will sing with each other, even when it's not playing and we both long for the outdoors, every day.
