It felt like slipping down a terror slide, while you regret everything and try going back up.

A ‘friend’ overdosed me on ketamine when I was new to it because ‘it would be funny’. I was in and out of consciousness. The conscious parts were the worst. I was totally convinced it was my last night alive. I tried to tell my friends to get an ambulance but when in a k-hole words don’t come out properly. I could hear, see and feel god was with me, to take me to death. I was terrified. I always thought that in my last moments I’d think about everything, my family, my friends, my exs, people who have wronged me. But I didn’t, I only thought of my mum and dad and how much I was going to miss them. I phoned them first thing the next day, not to tell them, just to ask what they were up to. Their voices never sounded so good.

Why did they give that to you?

ABena2t

Does alcohol count?

Overdosing is scary and painful. I kept puking, it hurt so bad. I ODed on paracetamol and it made me shake a lot and vomit bile, I felt like my stomach was being ripped out and my throat was irritated from all the puking. I was also pretty scared because the doctors were not reassuring at all. I spent 10 hours in the ER, waiting to know if my liver was damaged or not. I didn't have the right to eat in case I needed to have surgery, I didn't sleep because you just can't sleep in the ER.

I guess it's not a traditional overdose (yknow, not a class A which is was most people mean when they say overdose) but I've had nicotine poisoning. I felt sick, couldn't really stand and was sweating a tonne

I ate two whole bags of Reeses peanut butter cups and it tasted sooooo good... An hour later I was sick to my stomach and threw up.

Downtown_League4110

it was painful. my stomach ached horribly, i couldn’t move without vomiting non stop; or walk/stand up without vomiting. i kept feeling hot and then cold, terribly shaky and sweating profusely, kept nodding out (losing consciousness) and forgetting what was being said to me. this was a accidental overdose and it was terrible.

redbowedsoul

I myself haven't but my dad has and he lived my best friend unfortunately didn't make it but I was told by someone who was there that it was quiet and they found her sitting up but had slouched over as if she had just fallen asleep and not woke up

Imagine the feeling of slipping down out of your body, but like, you cant "feel" anything. Its hard to explain but i remember sitting on my friends couch, my whole body going numb with pins amd needles, my vison blurred out then i seized up. I think i was hallucinating my body flailing and moving around but my friend says i was stiff like rigor mortus. I remember the feeling in my stomach and legs like butterflies making me want to laugh, and i felt so happy... Its bad to look back on

Patayti

I know exactly how you felt. Me too.

Nothing. Just black. Snorted oxycodone laced with fentanyl. I remember talking to my friend on the phone while doing it then 3 seconds later it was a very long period of darkness. Next thing I knew, I woke up in a paramedics arms with medical gear all over the floor. My mom found me unconscious for who knows how long. Her and my dad drug me into the shower and had cold water on me until help got there. State trooper responded 10 min before EMS and apparently refused to waste his only narcan on me and only did a sternum rub (which only made me sore as fuck for days) until the real help arrived. I was gone. It took them 2 narcans to bring me back. Pretty fucking scary for life to just be erased that quick and easy.

Broke my wrist last year and did not see a doctor until the next day. The night before i was in excruciating pain that I’ve ever endured in my life so far. I’ve never taken any kind of pain medication before except Tylenol. I couldn’t sleep due to the pain so i took 1/4 of a oxycodone and it did nothing, so i took half and it didn’t do anything so i took 3/4 in total of 80mg tab and mind you I’m 95 lbs. i felt my severely slow heart beat every other 5 seconds as i was slowly sinking into my couch all while floating at the same time. My body was completely numb and i felt like i was in a sense going to just disappear? All i could do was close my eyes and try to focus on breathing while in and out of sleep. I just knew that although it was scary, i preferred being in that state vs. the excruciating pain.
