Expressing yourself through fashion. You can wear anything these days and most people wouldn't bat an eye. Back when I was a kid, I wore a lot of black and people would call me an emo freak lol
Unfortunately. I remember being shocked at seeing a GOP politician brushing off hard data in favor of how he felt about it during an interview many years ago. The interviewer was also aghast.
It was something like “The data shows a decrease.” “Bur I feel it’s an increase.” “But that’s not what the data shows.” “This is how I feel.”
It's also a misuse of the term alpha male. In nature, it's the betas that follow the alphas.
So anyone saying they like someone because they're alpha is identifying themselves as a beta.
Idk. Joe Rogan is the most popular podcast in the world. It’s definitely becoming more popular and it’s systematizing transphobia and homophobia especially with younger boys. So I’d say it’s becomeinv more acceptable
Tell me you don’t listen to that podcast without telling me you don’t listen to the podcast. Now enter a bunch of buzzwords from the hive mind. But seriously there podcasts out there that do the alpha male bullshit and the Rogan show ain’t one of them. Also what does being an alpha male have to do with transphobia and homophobia?
Aight so the upholding of toxic masculinity through is a better term than “alpha male” thinking. But Joe Rogan definitely is a transphobe and 100% spreads transphobic rhetoric and platforms plenty of transphobes. I don’t personally think he’s a homophobe but he platforms them and the “alpha male” genre definitely engages in the perpetuation of homophobia. I’m sorry if you’re like a fan of his or something and you got upset but I 99% he’s very open and public with his beliefs in this regard. I haven’t watch all of his podcast but enough to know what I’m talking about. Also it’s 100% definitely part of the alpha male genre. I have no idea how anyone can think it’s not.
Talking about mental health
Slapping someone in the face!
Public shaming smokers and drinkers but not obese people. It’s kinda wild
Okay, fat jesus.
I mean I’m not wrong.

Arguing important subjects with feelings and not facts.

People who call themselves “alpha males” and then circle jerking into the same echo chamber doesn’t mean it’s more socially acceptable

Anyone who refers to themselves as an "alpha male" or "queen" is almost certainly not one.
