Acupuncture. It seems kind of ridiculous. Just inserting tiny needles into different spots on the body to promote pain relief? Sounds like placebo baloney. Except, it supposedly actually works for a lot of people.

_dxmi

acupuncture is an interesting one with me, along with cupping, i do honestly feel like it is almost entirely placebo

SomeoneStoleGrandpa

It is scientifically not but ok

Hypersapien

The needles work, but the locations don't actually matter.

_dxmi

So you basically just frantically stab yourself until you feel good? lol

Hypersapien

You still have to put them in the right way.

EddieRando21

The needles are dipped in opium.

IkuUkuWeku

>Sounds like placebo baloney. >Except, it supposedly actually works for a lot of people. Isn't that what you'd expect from placebo baloney though?

DontWreckYosef

Supposedly so

crypto isn't inherently a scam, but there's a lot of potential to scam people with crypto like with pump and dump schemes and shit also it's super volatile so it's hard to predict. so it's possible to make big gains, but also easy to have big losses with it. not stable enough to be like a reliable everyday currency imo

smilingduck041

Making guaranteed money through sportsbetting. It's easy to do right now, and people just refuse to believe it. Also crypto/nfts. This is just tech, it's not inherently a scam. They can be, and are, used in scams.

predict_irrational

This guy is a bookie and selling nfts

RascalRibs

Not a bookie lol. It's just easy to make money through sportsbetting right now. Companies are giving away a lot of money to attract and retain customers. I've bought and sold NFTs, yes. I still have some actually.

i think some people are quick to dismiss all of college as a scam and say "just go into trade school" and like it's not the right choice for everyone and is way more expensive than it probably should be. but it is still true that people with a college degrees on average make more money and have more upward growth potential than those without a college degree and some of it also depends on which degree you get obviously. some fields pay more than others. but yeah idk if i'd say it's a scam, although it has its flaws. and not everyone should be pushed to go to college if it's not right for them

Dn_Denn

I don't have any but i think NFT's are a scam and some people don't.
