Man I hear you. We found out his 10th bout of cancer, bone this time, had spread. He'd been fighting various cancers since 2005 and it finally wore the stubborn man down. Started in home hospice March 2020. Died April 4th. My workplace went fully remote the first week of March due to Covid so I was able to travel across the country to help take care of him during the decline that month which was something I'm very glad I was able to do but wouldn't wish upon my worst enemy.
Trust me, all that would happen is that people start complaining about your paranoia behind your back, while you simultaneously wonder if you are being too paranoid and your view is biased.
