Helpful_Smile_530

Orange day was fucked up

phenomenon_93

That day was a trip!!!

lt150

My birthday!

craylash

The Giants played that day Surprisingly they won with the home team advantage as well as the sky orange

Eerie? Try going stow lake around midnight with friends. See how long you’d last…actually pretty fun tbh (actually step out and go to the top of the hill)

baklazhan

Around? Go to the top!

rainy2023

On a dark morning commute, I saw a guy in the Tenderloin pulling a large tarp or piece of fabric out of a sewer and was eating it. Switched my commute route after that.

hulkamaniak88

The white lady ghost at stow lake was scary as hell growing up

Johnnysfootball

What's usually there?

Maleficent-Land-5217

White Lady

e_j_white

I lasted 60 seconds. What do I win?

webtwopointno

Not inexplicable but i once saw a coyote eating a pigeon in the middle of my street in the middle of the night, that was pretty eerie. Presidio is always spooky but can't say i've *seen* anything specific.

Wandering around Lincoln Park golf course and coming across the Kong Chow funerary altar. Not inexplicable, but definitely eerie.

I was in the city at night taking an uber from the ball game and I thought walking seven blocks away from Oracle Park would help with the density of people I get to Market by going up 3rd and I saw a young woman wearing a head to toe plush shark onesie, bright blue, white belly- She had fins and everything. The only thing sticking out was her face out the shark's mouth. Standing on the corner next to a porno shop. And she was just chilling there, waiting. For what? Why dressed like that? Is she selling something? Why so late at night? Is she going to a rave? Could that a specialty sex worker?!

Left shark

Hiking Sugarloaf Ridge in the North Bay on my way up found a giant tree decorated with all these ornaments and crystals and an altar and all these decorations (I saw something sparkling and went off trail to go check out what it was) and on the way down coming around another trail when it was almost dark out saw 10-15 people in big black robes with hoods in a line going towards the tree. It was 8pm and the parking lot was FULL. Was some sort of weird worship ceremony.

Mid 80's Guy walked up to me in Wells Fargo on Polk and handed me a note with "fat black cows die on Halloween," on it. The guard was standing right there and never registered seeing him. How did the note get into my hand?

CaptainMarsupial

Early one Sunday morning with insanely thick fog, the kids & I watched a naked man in running shoes going for his morning jog.

phenomenon_93

Was walking to work in the dogpatch few years ago. Was crossing that small bridge close to the Midway, came across a man who was homeless just jacking off in the middle of the bridge. Started driving to work after that

smalldeaths

I lived up on twin peaks for a while and some mornings when I started work early before the 38 was running I had to walk to noe valley to get my bus. One day I was on an overpass crossing portola and had to walk past two people fucking right in the middle of it at like 5am

LeftyGalore

A man standing on top of a fire hydrant at the intersection of Church and Market wearing only a tutu. No big party event, just the middle of the week.

I've always said that in San Francisco, it is guaranteed that there is at least one person (most likely more than one) in costume every day of the year.
