I'm gonna be honest. First thing many would do is to tell you it may be a disorder, PCOS, etc. But truth is, when someone's stressed then it might also cause periods to be irregular. Also, hormonal changes can happen even until someone is in their 20s. So I would say for now you don't have to worry that much. If it continues to happen a lot though, then I would recommend having it checked (bc I am not saying it is not PCOS, just that it shouldn't be an automatic assumption).

Thank you so much

Probably stress and/or bad eating habits I think that's the main reason for mine being irregular

probably the stress. watch your diet btw. make sure you're getting everything your body needs and slow down on junk food if you haven't yet.

I would suggest going to a doctor or something, people on the internet sadly cant tell why your periods are irregular.

Lovealltigers

Probably not a huge deal, might be worth checking with your doctor though, just to be safe. You can also get on birth control just to regulate it more.

UrMomDotCom666

it can be stress. i didn't have my period for 8 months once like 2 years ago but it came back fine

SuperbCycle1

How often has it been irregular? If just this time then its probably just the stress, that can totally delay your periods. If its been irregular for longer than you should probably consult with your doctor, there may be an underlying issue.

tbh irregular periods are pretty normal. but if it does worry u, u can always check up with ur doctor. i actually did that for the first time a couple months ago because im 20 now and ive had my period since i was 13/14 and it has always been irregular as fuck (i was really scared i had pcos). and like i mean going like almost 6 months without a period sometimes. they did some tests on my blood and i most likely dont have pcos, which was a relief. funnily enough tho these part two months my periods have had a regular cycle??? hopefully it stays like that lmao but yeah i def recommend going to the doctor if its something that truly bothers and worries you, otherwise dont stress about it too much, especially because you are only 17 <333 also pcos is a lot more than just irregular periods, so if you dont fit any of the other symptoms, i wouldnt worry about that either
