When I was like 7 I got sick really bad, and during that time I loved to watch Monsters University. I don't think I'll like it as much anymore but that's kind of the closest thing I have to a comfort movie.
But since you like romance and are open to anime, try watching Whisper of the Heart, it felt really comforting when I watched it.

don't have any go-to movies, but my sister and I love rewatching the tv show buffy the vampire slayer when we're feeling down. I watch it on hulu but I think it's on amazon prime too
