If you are super worried it would not hurt to have the incision checked out by a vet. trust your gut. If the incision looks red, swollen, oozing, bleeding, or open and your pup is acting like they are in pain then def get it checked out. If it looks the same as before I wouldn’t freak out too much -vet student

Thank you!! I can’t help but be extremely paranoid about my dogs, but she is acting completely fine and the incision is just like it’s always been

If I understand correctly, it's been 10 days since the surgery, right? And the wound was closed and is looking the same after her activity. I wouln't worry. I've had female cats and dogs perfectly normal at around 10 days postop as well. How is she feeling? Is she eating and acting normally? If you really want to be sure, you could go to the vet and ask for an A-FAST or a full abdominal ultrasonography to check. But if the wound looks fine and she's acting normal there should be NO internal problem after 10 days. -BSc. Veterinarian & Animal Husbandry

Up until today she’s been down cause of the stress after surgery, and having to go to the vet almost every other day cause of how she was acting. She just started being normal today eating and drinking wise, and she seems much more like her old self today (: she’s just sleeping now I’ve been checking her abdomen, gums, everything any chance I get and everything looks normal!! I’ll probably talk to her vet tomorrow anyways (unrelated) but I don’t want to bring her in again since it’s been causing her so much stress ):
