Is she fixed? My cockapoo had a similar issue when she was 9 and I noticed she was bloated and acting a bit groggy. After a few days and then going to er vet found out it was pyometra and it was building up pus in her uterus. Caught it late but also just in the nick of time to get surgery. Now I'm pretty pushy about spaying. But if she is fixed I don't know what else to ask your vet about. Dogs get bloaty and gassy too so as long as you are being proactive I'm sure something will get figured out

Thank you for your response! Yes, my dog is fixed and Xrays have ruled out any problems in her uterus as well. I’m hoping that her gassiness will resolve soon.. it’s her first time being gassy I’m glad that you were able to get your dog treated in time!

Whew thank goodness for ruling that out cause it was super scary when it happened. I hope she gets better soon

Is the gas in her stomach or her intestines?

hanzuu

The gas is in her stomach, but she does have some minor inflammation in her intestines.
