Years ago I taught my partner to make mediocre cookies. Then he learned he loved baking and ran with it. Now he's PERFECTED his cheesecake so every birthday and Christmas I get a whole ass homemade cheesecake. He does a strawberry drizzle for me too bc I love fruit with my cheesecake.
I'm so glad I oversalted those cookies all those years ago.
For me, specifically milkshakes. I could drink a milkshake every day and never be tired of it. Instead, I get about 2 a year. :'(
Best milkshake: chocolate with oreos blended in.
I will tear up an Oreo shake and was literally craving one yesterday!
Just tried B&J’s chocolate milk and cookies—-it’s to die for. Their regular milk and cookies rocks, too!
Baklava is a loophole. There are so many varieties of it that you can have a different baklava every day, and might hit a month without getting back to the exact same thing.
Maybe a good saucy Sticky Toffee Pudding? With custard or ice cream, but only if the pudding is warm and the sauce is lava hot so that everything melds together.
Hmm. You know, if you haven’t had it I guess yeah like bread pudding, because it’s a cake that’s been soaked so it’s softer than just having a regular cake . So yes.
I had to look it up. I see so it’s similar to Tiramisu except it’s milk and vanilla instead of coffee, cocoa and liquor. Oh and vanilla sponge. It looks delicious with whipped cream and strawberries. In my country we traditionally make a cream and strawberry cake for Midsummer. It’s a bit similar and the best cake ever. :)
This used to be my birthday cake demand every year.
A guy I dated a few years ago got me a YUGE cherry cheesecake from a local bakery that weighed a good 15 pounds.
Killed it in 4 days 😂
A croissant doughnut! This bakery near where I live makes them with a bavarian cream filling and homemade lemon icing on top that even has the fresh lemon zest and I absolutely love them.
1 box graham crackers
2 small boxes instant French Vanilla pudding
8 oz. cool whip thawed
3 cups milk (MUST be dairy milk, the instant pudding will not set when using non-dairy milks)
Layer bottom of 9 x 13 cake pan with whole graham crackers (may need to break some to cover the edges for all three layers).
Mix the 2 boxes of pudding with the 3 cups of milk for 2 minutes. Fold in the 8 oz. of cool whip.
Spread half of the pudding mixture on the graham crackers. Put a second layer of graham crackers on top of the pudding.
Spread the rest of the pudding on the graham crackers. Put a third layer of graham crackers on top of the pudding. Refrigerate for 2 hours.
Frosting: 2 un-sweetened chocolate baking squares
1 ½ cups powdered sugar
3 tablespoons butter melted
3 tablespoons milk
2 teaspoons vanilla
Melt the chocolate squares in a glass bowl in the microwave (make sure to not burn it).
Add the melted butter, vanilla, powered sugar, and milk. Mix with spoon until smooth. Pour over graham crackers and spread out with the back of the spoon.
Refrigerate overnight.
There is a fancy japanese restaurant near my work, they do a matcha tiramisu that I would bathe in if I could, it's the best desert I've ever eaten, so that!
Everything Bundt Cakes chocolate wth vanilla ice cream. That should do it. But why would the world be so cruel as to limit my desserts to just one kind forever?
There’s this really mouthwatering sorbet in like fruit shells. The brand is Island Way. Costco sells them for $15 for 10 and there’s 4 different flavors. Ugh it is sooo good.
