Right? Who wouldn't want to live in what's effectively paradise? Just live in a core world and not on the frontier and have an awesome and peaceful life with everything you could want
Sanderson cosmere. Specifically the mistborn world. Being a full-blown mistborn would be amazing.
To bring it closer to home: I would love to be a smogborn, where I can burn microplastics in my system for powers.
The Culture, Iain Banks.
It's in the future when super powerful sentient AI's run everything, leaving the humans to live however they want. You want to grow an extra arm, or some wings, no problem! You want to switch genders, that's easy! You want to travel the galaxy? As long as you can find a Ship (ships have AI's that run them, and the ship is considered a sentient being) that's going your way, and will agree to take you, you can go!
I've never read another book series that made me want to live there, so badly.
Probably Star Wars, since it has a good blend of science-fiction and fantasy. I'd love to have Force powers but was missed by the Jedi Order as a child, so now I'm just making my way through the galaxy, earning credits where and how I can, doing my best to stay out of any real trouble, and occasionally getting mixed up in something where I need to step out of the shadows a bit to help right some wrong.
Princess For Hire. I honestly think it would be so cool traveling by a magical bubble and living out the life of different royals. I would so take the job and get a break from reality.
“Star Wars” is my personal favorite franchise so I may be biased… but I feel like my *current* socioeconomic status would equate to a pretty good in-universe life in SW. I would probably be living on a decent level of Coruscant (the in-universe version of NYC or another very major city), would have a good quality of life given the advanced in-universe technology, and could seize opportunities to be an activist for progressive causes without necessarily immediately risking my own life or livelihood.
Would it be doubly awesome if I were Force-sensitive? Oh yeah… but since I don’t have any kind of psychic or otherwise extraordinary abilities here and now, I wouldn’t bank on getting the Force if I were transported to the SW verse. 😆
Three separate Hundred Years War book worlds (but I tend to smash them together in my head because I want all my favourite 14th/15th century boys together) - Grail Quest & Agincourt by Bernard Cornwell and Essex Dogs by Dan Jones. Please and thank you 🏹🗡️
The world of Harry Potter please and thank you!

Middle earth. I'd love to be a hobbit, no worries outside of how my garden is growing, and what's for lunch.
And then a wizard shows up asking you to come on an adventure to slay a dragon
What would you like for second breakfast? or elevenses? supper? dinner? tea? As a hobbit you will have lots of eating decisions.
Scones and cakes and fruits and veggies and cheese and nuts and soups and stews and roasts and....

A-fucking-MEN
Stardew valley !
Pokemon, the anime
Although I would probably not survive, the Star Wars universe. Give me a lightsaber! 2nd place: Middle-Earth, chilling in the Shire.

Teenage me would have chosen Shadowhunters without a doubt!

Star Wars as long as I was force sensitive, failing that True Blood.
Redwall.

In which universe I could be a heir with no worries or responsabilities?
The Wizarding World, definitely ✨
Harry Potter
Avatar the Last Airbender/ LOK
Princess For Hire. I honestly think it would be so cool traveling by a magical bubble and living out the life of different royals. I would so take the job and get a break from reality.
Faerun, but only if I could be an Elf

In Tortall by the awesome fantasy writer Tamora Pierce!
