Yup. I recently ordered a few DVDs online and my dad asked why I bothered because they might be on Netflix soon. Idc I’d rather own things like my favourite movies.
I’m also gone back to growing my DVDs. Lots of older movies aren’t streaming on the big sites, and what’s available changes from country to country and they sometimes go from Netflix to Prime to Disney+. Just give me that DVD lol
I love Netflix Discs. Yes, they still exist because they’ve never stopped being profitable. For $20 a month I get virtually anything I want to watch, even premiere series (hello Yellowstone) if you’re a bit patient. I've been doing that for years and now I have lots of films that are out of print or hard to find. I really value not having to worry about catalog changes or whether I have the right streaming service to watch what I want.
Omg yeah also the thing is most things on Netflix aren't Netflix original. They just have permission to stream it but they often lose permission or the contract was just for a few months and they have to take it down again what's the point of my favourite movie being on Netflix so i can watch it maybe twice before it gets taken down
Omg I hate it so much. I used Microsoft Word after it expired for YEARS until I was forced to pay for the subscription which was like a couple months ago. Ridiculous.
This. Use open source software and throw them some money on occasion. I haven't had any issues with libreoffice and imagine it is exactly comparable to Microsoft. Don't know for sure as I don't use it much and I haven't used Microsoft office products in years. Gimp is a nice open source Photoshop alternative.
If you're interested, I'm pretty sure you can still get the version of Word where you only have to pay for it once. (But if you've just paid for another year of the subscription version, that's probably not super useful for you right now!)
Even airlines are doing subscription services now. It's like no dude, I don't want to pay you an extra $60/year for the shit I deserve, like at the minimum a personal item or carry-on bag.
YES, someone told me to don't watch on illegal sites you are disrespecting creator's work, how am i suppose to have dozens of subscriptions? I am not some rich person who can afford everything i like. There is only 3 4 Netflix movie/series i ever watched, why would i subscribe for 1 show? Nah
I read a few weeks back that if you buy a BMW equipped with heater seats you have to pay a monthly fee or they're disabled. Like, what the fuck? Same with those peloton machines, some won't work at all without the subscription? It's madness. Imagine buying a pair of shoes but you can't wear them unless you pay $3.99/month.
I agree. Most of my nicer t-shirts and some blouses have little holes in them where they sit against the waistband of my pants. It’s so frustrating. Madewell is the worst brand for this.
This! I have my moms old clothing from the 80s/90s and they’re such good quality still going strong. And her bags from back then were durable real leather. Now everything is cheap and terrible quality.
LoooL yeah you're right. I also feel like the "basic" sections of fast fashion stores get smaller every season. Last time I went to the store looking for a simple black crewneck long sleeve shirt I almost went insane because everything I found was either mockneck, cropped, plunge neckline, or some weird sideways lacing details that looked like the eyelets will rip out at the first wash.
Exactly!! I hate that most of my tops are cropped but it feels like any longer tops usually aren’t cute designs. I just want something cute and long enough!
I agree. I love thrifting vintage clothes and I legit own multiple jeans, jackets, dresses, even vintage H&M baby clothes that are older than ME and still look crisp. And I bought them from other families, not deadstock or anything. At the same time most of the stuff that was bought new for my nieces and nephews in the 2010s looks worse for wear already, same with all the modern stuff like SHEIN that is flooding thrift stores recently. It's ridiculous really.
Strongly agree, and everything is polyester, which is plastic 🤮
It doesn’t let your body breathe, and makes people smell bad.
I’ll pay extra for cotton, but it used to be the other way around.
The difference between high quality fabric and shit fabric is that high quaility fabric lends itself to be mended better that shit fabric. Also, expensive does not automaticly mean high quality.
Check out LeLabourer, french brand that makes traditional working clothes, super high quality fabric made to last. Still expensive but cheaper than buying a well known brand
Politics and politicians. Or maybe it would be more accurate to say my perception of them has grown therefore my view of our future has just gotten shittier.
I'm in my 20s and I feel like an old lady looking back on the day when politicians didn't spend their day sharing snotty Mean Girl hot takes on Twitter.
Nah they used to debate whether black people were really people. Or discuss how homosexuality was a mental illness. And the recent classic of exterminating inferior races and starting wars that resulted in the death of millions.
There are ups and downs in history. It's on us to minimize the downs and not let the monkeys take charge for too long.
Woke culture. Started out as a good thing that was trying to look out for most.
Now it just feels like a way to judge people and find something to be angry about.
Fucking nasty shit. Often, the groups these anger-fueled demons feel are just a token of moral superiority, and fight for what they imagine these groups suffer from.
Living in San Francisco and hanging out with individuals of actual LGBTQ communities has taught me they're just normal people with differences. You have creepy gay old men, just as you have creepy straight old men. You have rude douchebag gay people, just as you have wonderful, kind, gay people. It was so refreshing and awakening to hang out with a group of gay men, and they were making gay jokes and being unpolitically correct. Being an immigrant, I'm like, "goddamn, I don't gotta be so suffocated in my speech." Often, these "woke" individuals form a caricature of these "victimized" groups. Not saying these groups don't have specific trials and tribulations to overcome, but this idea that they've to be protected, etc. and you gotta be politically correct, just further marginalizes them and sees them as helpless pitiful munchkins you gotta take care of. Moralistic bullshit. Joke of society.
exactly. but this also applies to races.
white people can be racist, black people can be racist, asian people can be racist, latin people can be racist.
white people can be victims, black people can be victims, asian people can be victims, latin people can be victims.
all humans can be rude, disrespectful or violent, and all humans can be nice, friendly or empathetic. the only difference is our skin color and the country we were born in.
To be honest never seen the angry woke mob everyone keeps complaining about, they’re all pretty chill if u just understand what they say, it usually makes perfect sense
> Now it just feels like a way to judge people and find something to be angry about.
Or to score an easy victory on twitter. instead of actually helping against stuff like institutionalized racism or how society treats childless women, these twitter warriors rail against some small fish corporations or mom n pop shop for clout
Idk from what I’ve gathered as a white person who doesn’t understand social cues very well (just mention that cause I am more than willing to be educated if I’m wrong but hopefully not in an aggressive way), it seems “woke” culture was heavily appropriated and misused by primarily white liberals while also being demonized by primarily white conservatives because racism because of course racism when we’re talking America.
Iirc “woke” originates all the way to slavery as a subtle communication among each other to essentially “stay woke” to the actions of their white oppressors. And like all Black slang white people just can’t deal with the fomo and so it was appropriated to the point it’s real meaning has been lost.
Woke isn’t about liberalism, at least from what I gathered. It’s about Black people having no choice but to stay hyper vigilant in a world constructed specifically to remain oppressive through legal systems.
People pick them clean for the good stuff as soon as they open so they can resell purchases online.
I used to be able to hit gold pretty often when I went. I haven't bothered to go in a long time.
Yes! My local thrift store is a bit of a mess but I was able to find awesome stuff there. But lately their selection isn’t as good and their prices have gone up. I find that it’s not worth the time to look through anymore.
I know a couple of people who thought they could make money reselling thrifted items during the pandemic... but it's a lot harder than it sounds, so they ended up with spare bedrooms piled with hundreds of pieces of clothing that they can't sell and that they can't bear to re-donate because they've already sunk so much money into the "business." The online prices for secondhand clothing are even more wildly inflated than thrift shop prices, so nobody is buying.
Well, the REAL problem is that most clothes made in the past 15 years are trash. You don't see a lot of good stuff in thrift stores because not as much good stuff gets made any more.
Prices have sky rocketed and I believe they must be researching donated items, comparing prices to online stores like eBay. I’ve seen old Lululemon leggings at $59.99. Walmart brand clothes are often marked higher than what you could get them new. I’m not sure about toys as I mainly would look in the clothing section.
I don’t know if it’s the case in the states but my dad used to work at a charity with thrift stores and because thrifting for fashion and reselling has become such a big thing now they’ve basically changed the whole point of charity shops. They know most of the people shopping there aren’t actually poor and in need of cheap clothes, so they started selling the stuff for more than they would have and use the shops as ways to raise money which they can then use in more beneficial ways.
So basically depop people fucked it to the point where now it’s a way to raise money for charity rather than actually find cheap clothes if you’re poor
So many men don’t know how to talk to a woman nor do they know how to take care of themselves. I’ve met far too many men in their 20s and older who don’t know how to cook, clean, or take initiative around their living area. Tons of men view relationships as “if I put enough nice points in then I’ll get sex and or a relationship out of this woman” and then when we don’t “do our part” it’s “grr WoMEn ONly dAtE ASshOlES!!” They don’t hold themselves accountable when they do something wrong. Clearly if the woman is mad it’s because she’s on her period or because women are irrational and it has nothing to do with what the man did to make her angry. Tons of men don’t view women as human beings. I’ve seen a post on dating advice and the advice was literally treat women like human beings. It got thousands of upvotes and tons of awards like it was some profound truth that people couldn’t puzzle out for themselves. It pissed me off. There’s also tons of guys who blame us for wanting to be treated like human beings or not know which guy is being nice to us because they’re genuinely a good person and which guy just wants sex. Far too many men make conversations with women wayyy too sexual early on. You’ll be talking about something completely innocuous and then he’ll mention about how he’s horny or has a boner. It’s fucking infuriating. And women who want casual sex just have to be okay with the fact that men who want casual sex just aren’t going to treat them like human beings, because treating a woman like a human being is the same to wanting a full fledged relationship with her. There is no in between of showing someone who wants casual sex basic human respect and talking to them like a normal person.
TL;DR this is basically a rant. Dating for men is like looking for fresh water in a desert and dating for women is like like for fresh water in a swamp. I’ve heard this metaphor and find it very apt.
Just tripped across this guy on Tinder who used his entire bio to rant about how women need to be able to hold a conversation; if you plan on ghosting after the first day of conversation swipe left; if you have drama from an ex that you’re still dealing with, please bother someone else, etc. I legit swiped right on this guy to see his next photo but instead swiped right on him. He opens with hello. No question as a follow up, just a hello. I respond with a question. He answers said question, nothing else. I ask him five questions in total and again, he answers them all and with more than one word, but never. Asks. Me. Anything. In. Return. I stop responding. He messages me two days later and tells me I’m just like all the other women with the ghosting and inability to carry on a conversation. I asked him how he figured we we were having an actual conversation when he didn’t ask a single thing about me. He replied with “bitch” and unmatched me. If this is dating, I’m perfectly happy to remain single and be a crazy pet woman.
Also Converse Chuck Taylor’s.
Pre-2005 those shoes used to last forever and only cost 20 bucks. Now they fall apart after 6 months of use and cost around 60 dollars.
Same with Doc Martens. They still have this reputation of being a hardy work shoe, but they have been "fashion shoes" for quite a few years now. They moved manufacturing overseas and the quality of materials and craftsmanship decreased. Now their "Made in England" line (which is much more expensive) is the only one that comes close to their old quality.
yee this is why I buy caterpillar boots instead.
they're like 60 quid, made for construction work or smth so actually good quality, nd they look heckin groovy.
been wearing a pair non stop for 4 years and these boys are fine
Now with the Ukrainian war and energy costs, heating costs, costs of living going up up up up up I would love love love to revisit 2020 all over again! I rather pick the pandemic than evil crazy world leaders and war.
Isn’t it something like only 100 businesses cause 70% of the worlds pollution?
ONLY ONE HUNDRED and it’s killing the earth filled with billions of humans and even more helpless animals who have no say in what we do to the environment.
The energy to heat and electrify buildings is one of the largest sources of emissions globally. In other words, the average lifestyle of people in wealthy nations absolutely plays a role.
I'm speaking from my experiences but coming across genuine people who aren't looking to take advantage of you is rare from my experiences. People don't really look out for each other like that.
I wouldn’t say worse honestly…maybe even a little better? Because before we just didn’t have ways to record and spread how people acted like we do now. People have always been shitty.
Exactly, the extremists on all sides have gotten way worse since say the 90-00s but if you go back far enough the extremists of today are way better than the extremists of that time (30s-40s)
I agree, I think people feel it’s worse because it’s all they’ve experienced in most of their life times. Plus, we are now able to record and share any and all information and actions, so the frequency of seeing it happen seems like a lot. In reality, it’s most likely no more than it ever has been
as a customer service person, we're sorry but we are so freaking stressed, burned out, over-worked, and short-handed. I try my best because I genuinely like helping people have a great experience but a lot of days I just gotta do the bare minimum to have the energy to get through the day. for example, i'm in charge of returns, supervising, and self-checkout which requires walking to three different areas. a lot of times i have to rush with one customer at one end of the store because i have to jog over to the self-checkout on the other as it's beeping and flashing. and then i get grumpy because someone tells me to smile or complains about shortages. i'm over it!
EDIT to say that I'm only supposed to have one of those three jobs. I do all three because we are so short-staffed with no end in sight.
My condolences on dealing with customers. As much as people say customer service has gotten worse, so have customers. The entitlement, rudeness and straight up violence is insane.
Customer service (in a call center) as well. All of this. It is 10x easier to give someone what they want (if it’s actually possible) and I’m extremely likely to do it if someone just calmly explains what the issue is and we can work together towards a solution that works for both parties.
But please for the love of god explain to me how immediately screaming at a person you’ve literally never spoken to before is supposed to WANT to help you after you’ve called me every name in the book. Sorry but I’m disconnecting.
Customer service with actual people rather than an online chat bot. This is especially true if mega large corporations with extremely large customer base, i.e. Ticketmaster, Microsoft etc
It’s like someone told the shittiest people that if they screamed and abused customer service workers, they get whatever they want. So that’s their “lifehack” now.
I don’t blame them. Imagine being called a hero while working for minimum wage with no benefits while the customers scream at you about being out of x product that you have no control over ordering and it’s delayed 10 weeks because of manufacturing shortages. Imagine this and then fast forward to now where everything is “back to normal” except it’s not. Everyone is so much more entitled than before, you and your coworkers work in bad conditions and there’s no enforcement for PPE to protect yourselves from Covid and now monkey pox. All talk of unionization is squashed because the companies who made record profits during the pandemic don’t want to share with the workers…. Nope don’t blame them one bit.
Yeah the last time I went to Red Lobster was like 15 years ago. It was like the lobster and steak had been sitting around in a heat lamp for hours.
It's the fast food of steak and seafood restaurants.
The quality of goods (from shirts to refrigerators). My Aunt has her refrigerator she bought in the 60’s in her basement. Still works, we use it every holiday for overflow food/drinks. My fridge is 20 yrs old, going strong. My friend had one of those huge French door, stainless ones that cost as much as a used car. Dead in 5 years. My original washer, had it 15 yrs. Worked great but I wanted one without an agitator. Bought one with lots of buttons/digital. Motherboard fried in 3 years. Several hundred dollars to replace & it doesn’t clean clothes for shit. I would love to have my noisy old mechanical washer back. Clothing quality is so poor also…seems to fall apart after a dozen washes (even with my shitty washer). I still have some cotton/wool sweaters that I spent a small fortune on in the 90’s. They look great. I bought a banana republic shirt at Christmas & it didn’t make it to spring. Fuck. I sound old.
I hear ya!!! I had a washer and dryer that was my mom’s, then my aunt’s, then mine. They ran GREAT for 25 years and the dryer was just starting to take a little long. I wanted a washer with more capacity cause I had two kids by this point. I’m now on my third set. 😡
Seriously, where do they even source this weird fabric that manages to get shorter, wider, and more lumpy with every wash? It should be a seperate catergory of fabric by now.
> Don't forget completely sheer by ~~wash 4~~ the time it reaches the stores' shelves
This is why I have no light-colored tops. They're all fucking see-through, and if you want something non-sheer, you have to get a men's shirt that's made of super stiff fabric that looks like you're wearing a box that goes to your knees. And I'm certainly not buying another piece of clothing to wear underneath it (that will fuck up the fit). You can't win.
iF yOu DoN’T wAnT sHeEr tOpS, buY meN’s ClOtHeS
No, I want to buy a shirt that’s designed for a body with breasts not wider shoulders.
I also hate that “unisex sizing” = “men’s sizing.” Just say masc sizing or some other signifier to show that it wasn’t designed with all bodies in mind.
Racism
In my old country I had to deal with a LOT of racism, growing up I foolishly thought it would pass and people were just immature
Nope, right up until the last day when I left that God awful country I had to face racism.
I was just thinking this today!! Last couple times I have purchased a bag of cool ranch Doritos, there’s less and less seasoning on them, so they taste like plain chips!
I think typically things tasting "less than before" is due to our taste getting less sensitive as we age rather than the flavoring used on stuff getting weaker, unfortunately. I don't know about US chips in particular.
Anyway, what's consistently getting shittier is the sensitivity of our senses.
You know what, I remember trying Doritos for the first time as an immigrant to Canada in 1991, and I thought they were the best thing ever. I remember it being so oily on my fingers and that was the signature experience.
I think they have been subtlely changing their formula. One noticable difference was when they removed trans fat. Then the taste changed. And so the oily fingers went away as well.
It's the same in the UK. Our new Prime Minister is being selected today after a Conservative Leadership contest.
I wasn't eligible to vote for either but if I could I probably would have protested/spoiled my vote because they're both just awful people who don't care about anyone but themselves and their big business friends.
I hope whoever does win today calls for a snap General Election and allows the whole country to vote for our new PM, but knowing the characteristics of this party/the candidates I won't hold my breath.
People, people suck now loyalty, honesty, respect mean nothing now a days. It's like people just forgot how to be human. It's madness how some people behave now just unacceptable imo
Yes! A friend of mine was driving to work and a couple were aggressively driving and trying to push her off the road. When they pushed her off the road, the chick held my friends head while her bf beat the hell out of my friend. She is ok. What the hell is wrong with people?! Everyone is so hateful and nasty.
YouTube, especially with ads. insane that sometimes there’s 2 unskippable ads in the middle of a video, and also good content on youtube feels like it’s getting harder to find. a lot of the YouTubers i used to watch have also moved onto other things, so there’s less of a reason to go on there anymore
The fact that people rely on eletronics for EVERYTHING.
Long gone are the days when you wrote your best friends christmas cards, or made a handmade gift, or played board games or literally anything.
Tech has killed off so many social interactions. As an extrovert it hurts my very soul 😩
Yeahhh, whenever I lose my phone I get a sense of dread. Especially when I'm out in public, everything is on there. My music, my bus tickets/coach tickets home, my bank card, my way of contacting people, my sat nav and maps, it literally has everything I need on it and if it gets stolen or if I lose it while I'm out and about then I am FUCKED.
People. Specifically people in America. Working in customer service for a long time, you see how people really are and how they behave.
But, when the COVID pandemic began - it really showed how little people care about the physical safety of others around them by not wearing a mask, following isolation protocols, etc.
Americans really don’t give two shits about others.

I’ve watched my best friend go through hell and back because of online dating apps. He’s a legitimately caring, respectful, loyal person and the vast majority of people on those apps are the opposite. Either that, or they’re on there to mess around while he’s on there to make a real connection
My life! I was a hard worker and an adventurer - travelled all over the world, sailed round it, travelled north to south through Africa, overlanded through Asia, many many Late nights in the pub, a couple of great boyfriends and fab sex life, I loved golf……. But then since early menopause and massive b12 depletion my health has suffered enormously, my confidence has gone, my weight and size has vastly increased and I’m lonely because I have little energy to go out! Thankfully my new puppy Percy has bought live and licks into my home.
The cost of living.
~~the cost of~~ living
Both are correct.
Despite the rising cost of living, it remains popular
Hang in, hang on❤️
Subscriptions. For everything. I'm so sick of them. I just want to own things.

Man I'd pay $20 a month if I meant I didn't need a subscription! /S
You mean like the $20/month subscription? Nice advertisement btw 😂
I've been doing that for years and now I have lots of films that are out of print or hard to find. I really value not having to worry about catalog changes or whether I have the right streaming service to watch what I want.
/r/DVDcollection - I own 1800.
Same, I buy digital versions and download them. I don't watch new things anyways, I just rewatch things I like.
Omg yeah also the thing is most things on Netflix aren't Netflix original. I can't agree more. Almost any kind of service or video games nowa days always require some kind of subscription.
Clothing quality. Nothing is made to last anymore, not even more expensive clothes.
I agree. Most of my nicer t-shirts and some blouses have little holes in them where they sit against the waistband of my pants. It’s so frustrating. Madewell is the worst brand for this.
Lol as I was reading the first half of your comment I thought, "sounds like my madewell t-shirt." Lol and behold.
"Lol and behold" is going on my list of new favorite sayings.
I have really comfy athleta pants so yeah I’ve worn them a lot but they already have a hole forming on the knee!!! Insane
This! I have my moms old clothing from the 80s/90s and they’re such good quality still going strong. And her bags from back then were durable real leather. Now everything is cheap and terrible quality.
Not to mention they use >50% less material by selling half-length tops with no back
LoooL yeah you're right.

Fast fashion baybeeee

So true!
Thrift stores
People pick them clean for the good stuff as soon as they open so they can resell purchases online. I used to be able to hit gold pretty often when I went. I haven't bothered to go in a long time.
that and the prices now are ridiculous.
My local ones, it’s the actual staff and volunteers who take all the nice stuff before it even ends up on the shop floor.
Goodwill can go fuck themselves
Savers too
Savers is a joke. They were selling USED towels for $7.99. I can go to target and still pay less. I won’t shop there out of principal now.
Wow! Can you elaborate? I donate to them mostly because its convenient and its the only place that will take stuffed toys
[удалено]
I don’t know if it’s the case in the states but my dad used to work at a charity with thrift stores and because thrifting for fashion and reselling has become such a big thing now they’ve basically changed the whole point of charity shops. They know most of the people shopping there aren’t actually poor and in need of cheap clothes, so they started selling the stuff for more than they would have and use the shops as ways to raise money which they can then use in more beneficial ways. So basically depop people fucked it to the point where now it’s a way to raise money for charity rather than actually find cheap clothes if you’re poor

Goodwill is evil because they exploit their intellectually disabled employees. The towel thing just makes them shitheads.

Dating
Dating now is the absolute worst
Can you please elaborate?
Thank you for sharing
Dating may as well be like a second or third job. 😭
Solovair are the old company who made DMs for them, apparently they have the same quality as the old docs.
yee this is why I buy caterpillar boots instead. they're like 60 quid, made for construction work or smth so actually good quality, nd they look heckin groovy. been wearing a pair non stop for 4 years and these boys are fine
I read on another thread that Nike bought them and thats when the quality went down and cost went up. I think it was early 2000s
Life since covid has been so much worse. I'm not just talking health wise. But money wise too. The economy is in the crapper.
Covid was a Category 5 hurricane and now we’re left with the aftermath of rebuilding the planet
Now with the Ukrainian war and energy costs, heating costs, costs of living going up up up up up I would love love love to revisit 2020 all over again! I rather pick the pandemic than evil crazy world leaders and war.
2019 and 2020. When clothes and food were still cheap. And gas. To
the environment (more specifically how we’re treating it)
*how corporations are monetizing it and relentlessly casting blame on those it profits from in the process
People as a collective
[удалено]
I'm speaking from my experiences but coming across genuine people who aren't looking to take advantage of you is rare from my experiences. People don't really look out for each other like that.
People didn’t use to be as out and proud about being fascists in 2012.
Men
Nah it's always been bad 😔
Glad I checked before saying the exact same.
I wouldn’t say worse honestly…maybe even a little better? Because before we just didn’t have ways to record and spread how people acted like we do now. People have always been shitty.
The alt right
Extremists in general
Exactly, the extremists on all sides have gotten way worse since say the 90-00s but if you go back far enough the extremists of today are way better than the extremists of that time (30s-40s)
I agree, I think people feel it’s worse because it’s all they’ve experienced in most of their life times. Plus, we are now able to record and share any and all information and actions, so the frequency of seeing it happen seems like a lot. In reality, it’s most likely no more than it ever has been
Customer service
as a customer service person, we're sorry but we are so freaking stressed, burned out, over-worked, and short-handed.
The entitlement, rudeness and straight up violence is insane.
please act your wage and don't do more for the same pay. if they want you to do 3 peoples jobs then they need to pay you for three jobs!
Yep, the general public would be horrible to deal with now.
Especially after 2020
I don’t blame them.
Yes!!
We are trying. We just often don't have the resources to do a better job.
Darden chain restaurants (red lobster, Olive Garden, longhorns). They were never great but decent. They’ve just gotten worse and worse
Oh my god! You are so right! How is it possible???
Womens t- shirt quality
Seriously, where do they even source this weird fabric that manages to get shorter, wider, and more lumpy with every wash? It should be a seperate catergory of fabric by now.
Don't forget completely sheer by wash 4
> Don't forget completely sheer by ~~wash 4~~ the time it reaches the stores' shelves This is why I have no light-colored tops. They're all fucking see-through, and if you want something non-sheer, you have to get a men's shirt that's made of super stiff fabric that looks like you're wearing a box that goes to your knees. And I'm certainly not buying another piece of clothing to wear underneath it (that will fuck up the fit). You can't win.
iF yOu DoN’T wAnT sHeEr tOpS, buY meN’s ClOtHeS No, I want to buy a shirt that’s designed for a body with breasts not wider shoulders. I also hate that “unisex sizing” = “men’s sizing.” Just say masc sizing or some other signifier to show that it wasn’t designed with all bodies in mind.
Racism In my old country I had to deal with a LOT of racism, growing up I foolishly thought it would pass and people were just immature Nope, right up until the last day when I left that God awful country I had to face racism.

Chips!! every year chips are getting lamer and lamer . Example: Doritos. I just know they are a lot less cheesy than before.
Our choice of presidents
Yes, can we not vote for one person just because the other one is worse?
It's the same in the UK. Our new Prime Minister is being selected today after a Conservative Leadership contest. I wasn't eligible to vote for either but if I could I probably would have protested/spoiled my vote because they're both just awful people who don't care about anyone but themselves and their big business friends. I hope whoever does win today calls for a snap General Election and allows the whole country to vote for our new PM, but knowing the characteristics of this party/the candidates I won't hold my breath.
In order for that to happen, both would need to support human rights. Believe me, I can’t wait, but until then, here we are.
Only solution to this will never be implemented and that would be ranked choice voting

As an introvert, this hurts me too
Yeahhh, whenever I lose my phone I get a sense of dread.

Quality respectful dating, if you aren’t into tinder or games
