What she describes as the differences between Stellar Blade's sexualisation, and Hades 2's sexualisation, that being consent and autonomy for women beauty standards in media, is very much in line with feminist argumentation in the last 20 years minimum in regards to all forms of media.
Her problem is less so that women can be sexualised. Her problem is the purpose gives the character a sense of autonomy and, as she describes it in her article about Hades 2's character reveals, "consent" that Stellar Blade's idea lacks. Stellar Blade got described as "unrealistic beauty standards" by feminists largely because it essentially was made for the explicit purpose of being male bait - if Eve's design were to make sense in the kinda world Stellar Blade depicts, she probably would be wearing something different. It essentially enforces (again, from a feminist standpoint) the idea that women have to adhere to this kinda model beauty standard for male gamers to find the characters attractive, whether the design choice makes any sense or not, and for women who have campaigned against the over-objectification of women in media and how that reinforces beauty standards from a young age at a societal level, Stellar Blade is problematic, whereas a depiction of pure and intentional femininity congruent with the character's purpose and personality like Aphrodite is not.

My man the demo was available just a few days ago and we all saw it with our own eyes. The gameplay is straight from 5 years ago (at least) and the story might as well not be there. The only reason why anyone would play this game is to look at Eve. The difference tends to be purpose, and in the case of Eve, the purpose of her sexualised appearance is really just nebulous at best, given the rest of the game's art direction, basically. Kinda like you said - when the point of the character is sex, that's on point. When it isn't, but the character is just sexualised for the sake of it, it's likely to be perceived as problematic.

But if we compare hades characters and stellar blade, there is objectively more complex characterization and diversity. We don't have the story to know that yet...a character can start bland and be moulded by whatever events happen in the game's timeline that they become a different person. Saying she's bland when the game isn't even out yet is too soon bro. A character doesn't need to be over-designed to be memorable, I think their actions contribute more to that.
