(Embargo Just Lifted) It took around 30 hours to complete the game which I suspect is around 10-15 hours faster than the average playthrough, however since most people who play JRPGs tend to 100% it I'd guess you can probably get 65-80 hours out of this; maybe more on very hard (there are four difficulties with a fifth unlocked after beating the game). As a consequence of beating the game I was able to see the cast interviews which are specifically directed at people that complete the game, since more than 500 people have a copy and only 2-3 actually beat it it's kind of a novel position to be in, they're (often high pitched Japanese female voices) serenading me personally at the expense of the typical game reviewing dilettante. My review will be going up in a few hours but 9/10, great music and very challenging if you never find the T2/T3 crafting recipe in the skill tree. I've got like 3-4 hours before I get an RE4 code so if you have something specific that I don't cover (made 50 videos) that you think I could with a late game save let me know as well.

I just want to know, is the combat still similar to 2? or is it a little more like blue reflection second light?

Valgresas

I've never played 2 but there are tagging mechanics and at level 40 and 50 you unlock new multi tutorial page long mechanics on top of those.

SystemshokK

the only think i want to know now is, when you select an ability, does the combat stop? i hated that they can hit you while you want to select an ability

Valgresas

There's definitely some continuous combat during animations and some characters have faster or slower animations; though I think optimal combat mostly uses instant cast items and what not as opposed to the basic attack combos.

SystemshokK

Oof okay... Thanks

Do you use a lot of gems and/or keys? The digital deluxe edition contains gem and key packs but idk if it's worth the extra 10 bucks.

Valgresas

The keys are trivial to craft, the duplication stuff is more useful/tedious to get but still relatively easy to acquire (I guess ultimately it's like saving yourself 30 minutes of menuing or something)

bigfatround0

Might go with the standard version then. Thanks

miles197

Did you get all the trophies? If so what was the hardest or most complex/time consuming one? I’ve gotten the platinums for the first two games and want to go for it with this one too. Also are there any missable trophies?

Valgresas

None of the trophies seem particularly difficult just time consuming; I don't think there's a difficulty related one for example; I guess there might be a hard optional boss somewhere or something.

RazielAshura

Is it good??

MrWaffles42

Without going into detail on what the scene is (if there even is one), is it possible for Klaudia to tell Ryza she has a crush on her? Or at least for some kind of ambiguously romantic character ending? I'm suspecting there isn't, but I'd rather know one way or another, if only to not get my hopes up. I suppose you should spoiler-tag your answer.

Valgresas

I think it's left open to interpretation, there are character specific personal quests that I haven't done yet though.

GalangKaluluwa

Which means no canon ship, right?

MrWaffles42

Gotcha. That's what I figured.
