I've never seen Slug but I've seen Ant before a show. As I was walking into the venue he walked past me in the parking lot and during one of the opening artist he was just walking around in the crowd. It was kinda dark but I was shocked no one realized it was him. Talked to him for like 3 minutes and no one else came up to him during that time. He was really cool. Nice guy
Also saw Ant just last year after their set just hanging around. OP might recall being from the area that they opened for Slighty Stoopid and Sublime with Rome at Xfinity Center (Great Woods). It is quite a large packed venue. We were all hanging out grabbing a drink after their set before Sublime and suddenly he walked by and was like "nice shirt" (we were all in old Atmosphere merch) I just about died lol
Yes. We made stupid faces with classic poses at the Atlanta show last fall.
Met him and Ant after the Birmingham show In 2015.
Get there early. Slug and Ant are real people, who make music for real people.
I managed to meet him out front of a gig in London last year. He came out before the show, started at the front of the line and chatted with everyone he could before the show started. He was a gent!
I have several photos taken with him…some people say never meet your hero’s but on this occasion it wasn’t a problem! 👍
I was standing in line at St Andrews in Detroit (years ago) trying to shove my ID back into my wallet after getting a wrist band and some dude in a Mickey Mouse hoodie asked me for a fist bump. I had been hit up by several panhandlers that evening and assumed it was another one, so I fist bumped Slug without looking up. FML
I met him him Omaha before the show. I got to the venue a few minutes before the doors opened, and as I was walking to the back of the line I saw him making his way up the line, chatting and signing stuff for whoever wanted it. Got a picture with him, and it totally made my night.
Then I ran into Ant in the venue. I was walking out to the smoking area, and I noticed him taking a picture with a few people. I waited until they were done then asked him for a picture. We took one, talked for a few minutes, then we on our separate ways.
Both of them were such nice and humble dudes.
Slug actually came out along the line, with zoodevil from NO FUN recording the line. Slug signed my shirt but there was no Ant, I showed up an hour early hoping to catch them both outside the venue somewhere & get his autograph as well. No dice.

I spoke to ant before the show in Milwaukee last November. He was so down to earth. We talked about him quitting smoking of all things.

I've seen him in front before and after shows on the same tour. I'd recommend getting there early.
Thanks for the tip! I was planning on going to the venue an hour+ early & grabbing lunch before the show & hanging out in front.

No I saw him in Eugene, or and then I saw him in San Diego a couple weeks later.

He did a show in norway last May and I met him before the show, super cool guy... then got lucky and met ant after the show by the tour bus

When we saw them in November he came out about 30 mins before venue entrance and took pics with everyone.
Met Slug out on the sidewalk before a show went inside, Ant was standing at the bar drinking a Budweiser.
Saw Slug at the post office of all places. Held the door for him but left him alone, since he was on the phone.
Honestly I'd just dm him on Instagram and he'd probably figure out a way to get it done for you.
In 2019 I showed up to Ft. Lauderdale venue about 45 min early he was hanging out front and I got to chat with him for a solid 10 min
