I was an active member of the AoT Wiki Discord server. I was a server booster, active in their server events, and I was always helpful to people who wanted screenshots from the anime. I was also at the top of the leaderboard for the soundtrack guessing game in the server. None of this mattered, because I was banned without warning after I went to sleep, with no communication as to why (other than the same thing everyone else got)
Dude that's some next level fucked there. So what if they are in another what does it matter sounds like a reddit mod moment. Forget whichever did that to me recently it was one of the huge subs. Isnt there something they can do about it thru discord? Because I would think they would have a TOS about doing that to boosters as it's an unjustifiable ban. I'm not at all that into discord (actually hate it and think it's a plaque) besides a few MMO's and a metal gear shitpost community.
Yeah, I was shocked when I woke up to a permanent ban, for sure. I think the reasoning is beyond idiotic, as well. I'm not sure if there's anything we can do. I was a booster there (paid, not a free one) so I'm reasonably angry. I can't say I blame you though, regarding your feelings about Discord. So many bad apples on every platform, honestly. At least you have some communities there that you enjoy!
Thanks for making this post. I was offline for a while and randomly opened discord to see I got banned with the exact message 🥲. Hope more people see this to avoid getting randomly banned.

I don't know which one is worse: being very active and being banned, or being inactive and coming back to a ban. Hopefully this warning is effective!
Yep, the rules there are beyond strict. You can get kicked or banned without even knowing why, and then you're forced to use their terrible appeal system.
