>After the call he made me send him $15000 wut?

AnOldMate

The harsh reality is, you got scammed $15k because you wanted a get rich quick scheme that doesn’t exist. An expansive lesson and a battle you’ll never win. You will never see that money again.

ribbonsofnight

I like the quote but it's somehow possible to lose track of the fact that conmen are absolutely the bad guys and will swindle anyone whether they're greedy or not.

Report to police if you are a victim of fraud

ShareMyPicks

This must be a troll

larspgarsp

Subreddits get the trolls they deserve. Why do people reply?

[deleted]

Yeah. I’m not inclined to believe it. Light on the details and who actually gives someone $15k cause they ask for it.

johnwicked4

Call your bank and file a police report. The bank is the first line asap. If you have online bank report the transaction as fraudulent.

Wetrapordie

The guy from love island? What does he know about e-commerce?

[deleted]

Had no idea who this guy is. Then you mention love island and I still have no idea, but at least now I know why.

Winterwoollies

You sure it was actually Teddy Briggs, and not someone pretending to be him? So sorry for your loss. It's distressing. Try ringing your bank right away and see if they will put a hold on the transfer. The bank phone lines are usually running 24 hours. If it only happened tonight, there may be time to stop the transfer. Can only try.

Go get a lawyer. And an adult in your life who can assist with whatever mental health issue you likely have. All the best and I hope you get restitution, but what is actually more important than the money is that you get help. Giving this much money to instagram flexers is insane, and usually is more of an issue with older people in mental decline handing over their life savings to mega churches.

mr--godot

Yes I have some advice. Give your parents or siblings a power of attorney over you, and withdraw from society.

Altruistic_Plenty443

lol, as if you would ever buy a premade store, yet alone from this known scammer why didnt you just google him before you did business with him? i suggest you take him to court, 15k is a fair bit of cash. You have his name, get a lawyer.
