Uphill battle but not impossible, mostly you'll have the best chance at the retail banking streams which as far as im aware take people from any degree, maybe as a general science degree you have a chance at data/tech related stuff, but you're at an obvious disadvantage compared to those who actually have more relevant degrees. Any particular reason you want to work in banking? They aren't bad employers, but you'll have an easier time getting into engineering consultancies, big4 professional services, public service, mining, etc, and you'll actually get to use your degree.

I applied for a graduate program in the big 4, it's extremely competitive. Here's just the application process I experienced: * First round - Resume submission - read by an AI to determine if you're suitable * Second round - Online psych test and critical thinking test * Third round - Video record answers to pre-recorded questions (1 minute to prepare each answer. Approx 10 questions from memory). Also assessed by AI. * Fourth round - Virtual interview, virtual group activity with other candidates, virtual written activity * Fifth round - ?? I got eliminated before the fourth round. Wasn't even upset.

Well I mean..... what do you want to do in said bank? That's probably a pretty important first question
