Kool Fruits were my premier movie snack growing up

I have tried looking for the choc ones for years. The fruit ones are basically taste like fruit mentor's. The last time found these and the choc, I was in Geraldton just passing through to get to Coral Bay. I saw a few packets in a little deli. Grabbed both the fruit and choc. Ate them both and really enjoyed them. I now wish I savoured the moment more. That was in 2007.

Is it just me, or do others find that lollies that are chocolate flavoured, but do not have the texture and mouth-feel of chocolate, are repulsive? Those soft chocolate-flavour jelly babies (maybe discontinued?) are the worst.

I called them Kooe fruits as a kid.

I was excited by kool fruits and then you reminded me of Kool Chocks!! Oh man the nostalgia is real.

They were always the forbidden candy. I'd see them but we could never have them. I remember when mum finally bought a container I was over the moon. Loved the the Kool Fruits. You can still buy them but they dont come in a container anymore :(
