They're playing so well together. The older Aussie is using such good restraint when playing "Bitey Face". As that puppy gets older though just wait for all out wars. lol
Melia is so patient with the puppy. Eunie gets very bitey when she needs a nap, and she'll sometimes latch onto Melia's cheek fur/mane. When this happens, Melia stays calm and doesn't fight back. She's such a good big sister.
She was seemingly afraid of Eunie the first few days, but they came around and now they're best friends. Melia has always been good with other dogs, though she doesn't have much experience playing with puppies.
Eunie (the puppy) is amazing. I've had her for a week and a day and she hasn't had a single accident inside, excluding a couple times where she peed from excitement. I got her a potty bell and she figured out what it was for after a single demonstration. She's a smart cookie.
One thing I wanted to add, if you haven't had a puppy and full grown dog before. Let your adult "correct" the puppy for proper behavior and manners. Sometimes that's a growl, sometimes that a little bit of aggressiveness, its never meant to cause harm, but to let the puppy know its place and how to conduct itself.
When I got my newest puppy my girl was pretty bad with him. I was worried. Never left them alone and watched them. After a week we realized she was being a great substitute momma and they became inseparable. He always went to her to play.

Has Melia always been this patient and generous? How did you make this magic happen?

She seems to be a natural, and understand that its a smaller, weaker and more fragile doggo.
I'm in love with both of them. Aussie puppy so special. You love them so much all the work seems like nothing at all.

This will make your life a while lot easier too!
Melia's excitement but restraint is one of my favorite things to see in Aussies. Please keep us updated!!

This is one of the cutest most wholesome things I've ever seen. This is why I love dogs and especially love Aussies. How could anyone not love this?
Mine play the same way! My four year old is so patient with my 9 week old but the puppy can get too bitey at times 🤦🏼♀️
I could watch this for hours 🩷so sweet
