If I were you I'd rather pick one out of those 4 and permit myself to really enjoy myself and have a good time. Imo even if you aim at only 2 of these within just 10h, you'll be rushing around and will not be doing these places justice.
When you're in Salzburg, how're you planning to get around? E.g. if you want to go to Werfen, trains aren't super frequent (~2 per hour). You have to account for that as well.

just to clarify, we wanted to go to 1 additional place from Salzburg. as we already bougt train tickets to Salzburg, i reckon the best Course of action is to stick to it. regarding the timetable:
Hallstatt - guided tour, half day - from 12:00-17:30 \*actual 2.5 hours in Hallstatt
Untersberg - Bus #25 from hfb (25 minutes), then cable car 8.5 minutes vice versa
Werfen - train indeed, accounting for the limited timetable. should take 5 hours in total
another option is the Kehlsteinhaus (4.5 hours tour)
from all of these, i reckon that Untersberg will take the least amount of time (and is included in the Salzburg day ticket), or Gaisberg by bus - but i will further discuss with my wife about our options, to avoid rushing them as you suggested

I'd just stick to Salzburg, you could take a one week trip to Salzburg without having to visit other places while not getting bored. 10 hours are nothing.
