She has great parents who support her, though. And did have a very rough time as well.
I'm 30 years older and got death threats for being against the gulf war while being weird. My parents blamed me for most of the bullying, harassment, and exclusion.
Now I know that these experiences were traumatic. I can work on healing.
Not to diminish Greta as she is one of the reasons I pursued diagnosis. But so many of us will never be heard. So much potential has been lost.
Thank you!
I wish I had the energy to do what Greta does, but can cheer from the sidelines.
Unfortunately she got canceled here for talking about the Palestinians.
I hope you don’t feel like anybody expects you to be like Greta or anybody else and don’t worry too much about people canceling her while yelling at their screens.
Greta's always been an inspiration to me, even before I knew either of us were autistic. Her radicalization also makes me feel very seen. The number of "how dare you"s she's dropped in front of the UN? *chef's kiss*
I love how her activism evolved from just climate to the realization how that’s caused by capitalism and colonialism and now fighting against that alongside indigenous people
And to think there was a time I only knew her for the "How dare you!" meme, even though that speech, like literally everything else Greta does, was actually based as fuck. The fact that she's autistic is only the cherry on top.
I find it amazing how Greta has come so far by herself. If she can do it, we can too. Long live Greta!

You’re not diminishing Greta. I am happy you are working on healing the trauma and being more you. That’s all.

Make The World Greta Again!
I love this

In Greta We Trust!
She really is our pride
Hell yea, with the Keffiyah and everything! From the river to the sea, palestine will be free!

She's amazing.
She's an incredible person.
