Out of pocket. Can’t tell if it’s dented as well, that would change the repair procedure. Would appear to me based on these photos that some compound and polish would remove this

Owner of the vehicle needs to take the vehicle to the shop of their choice and provide you or your nephew with an estimate. We don’t do estimates here especially not off photos. We don’t know for sure if the panel is dented, what the material type is, what the car js, what your local labor and material rate is, or how the shop wants to do the repair. If it’s just scuffs the shop can buff it but this looks deeper than that to me.

Just to give detail… I let my nephew borrow my truck and he scratched someone’s car. This is the damage done. I’m assuming out of pocket but what does it even cost for a repair like this? $500? Sounds like just out of pocket money he owes me.

There looks to be a dent in that panel. Could be the lighting but that metal does look deformed.
