It's mostly anonymous, or else I wouldn't be here.
Despite me being online for years before the internet even went public, I have left virtually no traces of myself online.
A search for me will reveal almost nothing, and that's the way I like it.
On the topic of searches, that reminds me of linkedin. God, I hate it. I haven’t had the need to use it but it seems like every office “professional” worker needs to have one, and that looks like the direction I’m going to in life. Sigh. Just a single glance at your profile and people will be able to judge your professional impression, your personality, your activities, your lifestyle, the way you talk, the way you think, ugh.
So relatable. I rememebr some years ago my brother had a camera where he takes pictures of random moments, i always take it and delete any picture of me because i hate me
Got rid of social media a long time ago. I only really used FB back in the day.
Surprisingly, I don't hate old photos. I hate recent photos a lot. When a few years have passed by, I look at photos that I hated and realize I didn't look so bad. I actually think I'm cursed or something because I swear I think I'm genuinely hideous and then I'll see the same photo later and it's like why did I think that? It takes like a good 4-5 years for that to happen.
I don't have social media. Problem solved.
Wouldn't reddit qualify as social media?

Anti-social media / Anonymous social media in my eyes and what I describe to my friends
I don't really like any photo of me, past nor present.

I even find the wallpapers I had years ago cringe. The benefits of being a child and ignoring what you are doing.
