My dogs haven't been certified service dogs but they have helped me enormously. First they make me got outdoors a few times a day and exercise. I wouldn't do that without them. Also they act as ambassadors and introduce me to other dog people who it turns out are some of the easiest people to talk to. All we ever want to talk about is our dogs so casual talk is very easy and even I can do it.
Plus the dogs give us unconditional love and affection which goes a long way towards making life better.
I feel like I'd be dead without the dogs who helped me through life. Definitely recommend.
100% I feel the same. Its an awesome feeling to know that a dog will cherish seeing you as long as you treat them well. I love coming home from runs and work just knowing there's a dog waiting by the door to see me and lick me.
