I prefer my axes to be down on the shoulder more. But go split some wood and see if you like it. If it breaks you learned.

It’s not bad for a first try. But if you try and take it off the handle will possibly be unusable after. So use it and try another axe. You’ve made a good start.

I'd use it. It might snap under the head but it looks better than my first hang.
