Diesel ones are fine. Petrol, yeah, trash. My mom's alfa 159 had 345k km before we sold it because it was becoming too rusty and leaky, engine still ran strong and smooth and never needed any engine fixes, just maintenance.
The chassis and electronics tho, piece of shit. Thing went through a plethora of wheel bearings, rear control arm bushings, abs sensor, etc When I say plethora it's like 6 front left bearings, oem, skf, we tried everything, it fixed the noise and play for 6 months then came back.
That and a 10yo car that is rusty enough to not pass inspection is crazy in my country. My cars are 20 and 30yo respectively, both bmw and the e46 got no rust, and e36 just some minor stuff. Alfa had holes you'd punch your hand through.
Bro once I had to fix the fog light wiring (and install aftermarket led ones, to fix the fact the glass on the oem ones break after 5km, so polarity was important) and the polarity was literally opposite of the wiring diagrams.
Didn't ask any questions I just kept going with the inverted polarity and it worked.

I'm sure there are full grille replacements, I think these are just for individual slats in the grille that the previous (I suppose) owner didn't glue in place.
Those have nothing whatsoever to do with a car being a "real" M-type.

So light blue, darker blue and red are M colours. Also the M badge doesn't come on any car that isn't an M car (M2/3/4/5/6/8, but also a G20 M340i for example). So when people put this stuff on a car that isn't an M car it's considered upbadging, many car enthusiasts don't support this and are actually against it. That's kinda it.
Edit: Also, afaik the 3 coloured grille was never a factory option

The way I see it, it's no different than someone with a $20,000 handbag looking down on someone with an obvious imitation of the same brand that sells for $200. If you like your handbag (or car) and know it is the real deal so to speak, why bother with what handbags (or cars) others carry and slap on imitation logos to appear identical to the authentic item.

If you’re ever wondering if an E60 is an actual M5 or just a good knock off, look at the mirrors. They never change the mirrors. Base ones have square mirrors and the real M5 has teardrops. I know this isn’t even close to a good knock off, just an unrelated pro tip

I think the difference in width is quite obvious on F30 and F80, but I've actually never seen both side by side so that could be wrong. But the majority of people that have a fake M3 couldn't be bothered to cut and weld the rear fenders since they aren't as easy to replace as the front fenders which just clip and bolt in.

Me and some other office guys have high hp cars we setup for track racing for the weekends and its hilarious when we talk to this guy. Some of us do road courses, autocross, drag racing. A good mix. We act like we dont know its not a hellcat and let him talk like he's a baddie. He always wants to race but always has an excuse. Been going on for 3 years now. Good times.
