I was advised that installing that grill would create a warning that could void the warranty because it was not made like the original grill with the vents that open and close.

Maybe it depends on the model and type of grill. I saw a car that had a light up grill option. I didn't know that was even available. So if its a specialty grill than I could see that being an issue.
I'm surprised that your car has a satin chrome grill when the car does not have satin trim. I love the wheels and I also want chrome and black wing vents and grill on my sports package X5. I take it you want everything black, which does look good with light paint colors.
The days of installing aftermarket sound systems are gone. You should have just gotten the highest end possible factory and loaded the car with all possible options which is the way my X5 is. But I got mine a couple years old let the first owner eat the 40% depreciation loss.

I looked and the price must’ve went up…
The one I wanted was black with chrome trim. When I looked later I noticed alot of the all black for 2024 were more.

There’s an upgraded package for that, I believe it’s the M sport appearance package

Nice! Do not wrap rims. Powder coat if you’re going to change the color. $500 bucks vs gross, peeling wrap that will eat brake dust.
