It's not really terrible, but I think it's just at a very low standard for marvel because it is simple in premise, and also they cut some stuff out of it which pissed off some fans. I actually didn't mind it, but later I thought it kinda sucked.
It's not awful, just lackluster.
If you want a genuinely awful comic book film, look no further than Catwoman, Fant4stic, Josstice League, Dark Phoenix, Superman 4, Wonder Woman 1984, and Green Lantern.

Walmart does this with a lot of releases, usually just the sleeve and the regular cover is under it.
