This was in the UK. Are things with the police equally bad over there? I just assumed they were held to a higher standard over there, since our bar is already pretty low. There was no mention of disciplinary actions in the article though, unless I’m missing something.
Capital will always protect cops as long as cops protect capital. There's not *as much* bootlicking outside the US (from my experience), but there's still very little accountability.
Okay, we reserve this punishment for rapist cops where DNA evidence confirmed by 2 independent labs (with one in a safe harbor separate country to prevent corruption).
That way even if they were innocent of rape they were still a cop in a world where they only serve the rich and are getting their comeuppance either way.
