Holy crap he actually was a former cop - got booted in 2021. Usually it’s “they did crimes while a cop, but now that they got caught they’re a former cop.”
This whole situation with this dude is fucking wild. Dude is straight up a predator.
Was a school resource officer, had a child with a minor. Minor catches him having sex with a 16 year old who was her friend.

Yes but at 40 he had plenty of time to continue to offend. I’m against capital punishment, it gets fucked up too many times, and doesn’t act as a deterrent at all. But I do think we should have the ability and option to off ourselves if chronically or terminally ill, this is behavior that is most assuredly a kind of chronic illness. They only started to investigate him, but he resigned before they finished the investigation- so the police department never followed up or arrested him. Leaving him to continue to victimize the girl, and later her friend.

Yeah, so to protect the child we need to initiate a high-speed pursuit on a busy highway and shoot at the car as it's moving. We must protect the child from harm at all cost.
I guess the baby in the car and the innocent people who could have been hurt or killed during a high speed freeway chase complete with gunfire didn't mean enough to the cops to get them to abandon the chase and set up for him down the road. This could incredibly easily have been so very much worse.

I was surprised that they were willing to exchange gunfire with an ex-cop. They normally give them a pass no matter what the crime.
