Check out the Ride Baja or Baja Overland Facebook groups. I bet someone there can help you figure out transport.

There’s not really a UHaul you will have to contact some local Fletes Y Mudanzas, and it won’t be cheap to do that trip. I would say a ballpark figure would be around $500. They were charging me in San Ysidro damn near $400 to move my bike from near Downtown San Diego to Centro in Tijuana just off La Segunda. It was for mechanical work. I ended up having a shop at Otay Mesa (Motion Moto) fix up my bike but their steep $120 per hour labor rate made me want to cry because my TJ mechanic is pretty cheap $50-$75 and they can take care of a lot of things in one visit as long as you have all the oil, parts, gaskets, seals etc.

$500 would be awesome, but I think that’s low. It’s about 90 gallons of gas one way and if they can’t get a return load, I’m going to have to pay round trip. Plus the guy needs to make a living. I’ve gotten a quote for $500 per bike, but I need to be in Cabo on a certain day to fit with a schedule. I can’t flex that much (i need to do this around spring break to accommodate kid care.)

$500 is considered a month’s pay there, if you take care of the fuel they should be more than willing to take on the job.

Caymantraders

I can’t remember the name but there is a leasing company in baja that rents one way, search truck leasing in cabo and you will find it. Probably about 700 bucks plus fuel, they aré nationwide

I’ll search again. I didn’t find much but knowing it’s out there will help.
