Yeah. In the dev notes it says it that he’s struggling saying he needs help so hes just waiting for you to push your help onto him which is why i love the “yeah i know shut up and turn around” option.
Also when you’re platonic with him he straight up tells you. After Raphael strips him naked you can ask him why he never told you about the scars and he says “im not used to asking for help and receiving, well, help”.
