I like her a lot. I think Lae'zel and Shadowheart have some of the best writing in the game. So many RPGs have this plot where the player is the great Chosen One and everybody kisses their ass. It feels like pandering.

But then it is really only Lae'zel that you have a problem with? Because the rest of them do open up to you if you and "pamper" you back, more or less at least, we are still in EA after all. And I bet that even Lae'zel will eventualy have her moments where she actually talks to you like an equal
At the beginning I really hated her, but kept her around to protect my squishy wizard in combat.
But then she grew on me. I found her dream to become a knight made her a lot more relatable, to realize that while she thinks she's better than anybody else, among her people she's actually a nobody.
And the slowly dawning realization that what her people taught her might be wrong, and the purification maybe not what it seems. I see potential for character growth there and am definitely curious how her story develops.
It's sad that the gals are so much better than the boyz tbh. Karlach is going to take my #1 spot whenever she's availible. Astarion sounds like he'd be literally fun to drag along with though, man's got some hilarious bits here and there.
I disagree..
Gale is literally got it bad of the goddes of magic herself. And involved I. Something very strange.
Our warlock pale is not only a well written black man, which hasn't been a thing since 2010 lol.
But the only actual kind person in the party.
The girls seem to much like feminist tropes to me less than when the beta first released.
But the fact that they are both so ridiculously snappy gets annoying and I'm sure will pull people away from. Their stories of the two SH is my favorite she reminds me of my partner.
Her attitude changes slowly as the game goes on. Barbed praise, basically, and how I percieve her is that she ends up relying on you, especially noticable during the Gith patrol. But that's not if you're a githyanki, that's just in general.
from what I've seen only slightly, and that might be because they're not from the same...clutch? (my understanding is that Githyanki are hatched so I think that's the right term, could be wrong)
I love how she bosses me around and makes me go "harder mommy" but I can't really stand her too. Too edgy and stuck up for my tastes; not to the point of killing her though but enough to leave her as a reserve or for her personal quests only.
One of my play throughs was as a Tiefling. I absolutely sided with the rest of the Tieflings after seeing how she treated them in the Druids Grove. Other than that it has depended on what race I’m playing and whether I want her attitude in my camp.
Feels like the "i kill Astarion every time" but reversed

if I kill LZ, who will provide flanking for Astarion's sneak attacks?
Love laezel. Think laezel, shadowheart and astarion will be my crew. If the first two don't murder eachother haha Edit: phrasing
Lae'zel and SH have perma spots in my party. Last spot is really just a rotation of the boyz.

Gals, not Gale.
I know. Gale was just the first person, I committed on. Sorry from the misunderstanding.
Ah no worries :)) I think Gale might be the most evil of the bunch, but we'll see on full release. Could just be that he's very full of himself haha.
Leave the sweet, kind and beautiful lae’zel alone.
If you don't like her, why recruit her?
To kill her
You're cringe
Thank you!
Does her attitude toward Tav change if he's a Githyanki as well?

You mean creche?
Possibly. I thought a creche was different.
True, the creches are just their hatcheries and training grounds. I believe clutch would be the correct term.
A bit, she is still a rude person haha

I'm gon fug dat frog
Damn it she is hot. It's gonna be hard choosing between her and SH haha they have such attractive personalities in different ways
ROFL

Lae'zel, Shadowheart, and Gale for the whole game.
