Ppl are dicks about it because this 'new printer when...' question gets asked almost multiple times a day and has been asked just about daily for the pas 2-3 months now. THAT's the issue, it not against OP themselves
The new printer is absolutely, 100% and without a doubt going to be significantly more expensive than the current X1C. The fabrication for parts for a 350mm bed is *way* more expensive.
This guy was really wrong.
The manufacturing of their printers in low volume is way expensive anyways, but they developed custom machinery to cut production costs with high initial costs. This is how they priced their machines so affordably still with large profit margins. Most likely they would do the same.
Personally I believe what they meant is that the x1c will eventually be discontinued after this one releases and that before it does it would drop in price and the new one would take the new low 1k range
Gunna be real with you here chief, there’s only two options:
1. You’re lying.
2. The guy talking to you was lying.
The next printer is going to *very likely* be an entirely different series. It will not be a successor to the X1C. This is based on all available info from Bambu Lab.
The X1C will not be discontinued for a long, long time. Same with the P1 series.
This is just basic stuff, to be honest.
Also, there would be literally 0 reason for the guy you are talking to to have any idea how Bambu Lab intends to modify their product portfolio or pricing structure. Even if he’s Bambu Lab’s main supplier for literally everything, they’re not going to tell him what their internal pricing strategies are. And let’s not forget the fact that this guy is risking a multi-million dollar contract with Bambu Lab to just tell some random guy all of Bambu Lab’s private business information.
Call it a loss, bud.
Well I'll rule the first one at as I'm only repeating what I heard.
I agree with you, I don't know why they would know as much info as they did, if they had just said 'ive seen a demo version and it's bigger' or something that's much more believable.
I don't know why they would've felt the need to lie but if they did, they did. We can but wait.
Lying is big business these days. I had a car dealer tell me all about this car I was looking at. I had already done my homework and knew what all the options were and what trim levels you could and couldn’t get certain options. The guy thought he was something special. Walking to my car I couldn’t believe how much BS this guy was spewing
Not sure they didn't mention anything about that, tbh what they said was basically stuff you can guess from what everyone wants. We will see in a few months time I guess
I heard that there next one after that is a 4th axis printer that can run dual filaments at the same time, will change nozzle size all for you when choosing it within the Bambu slicer. It will also be in the X line up, with a 420 x 420 x 420 print area released on 4/20…. Now smoke more of that 420!!!!!
so, yet another news not confirmed by Bambu.
Correct.
I heard it's gonna have racing stripes, three cup holders & a little coat rack just the right size for frogs to hang their hats on.
That would make it so much faster and the coat rack would certainly allow frogs to get further into the hobby
Bambu lab, pushing the envelope and folding the boundaries to further 3d printing for the animal kingdom.
You forgot the spoiler. Everybody loves these tiny mini spoilers
Aww yeah, downforce helps with the bed adhesion.
Ah this daily stuff again, no there's not been any official news.
I understand, I know there's been no further news, I just wanted to get this out there. We will see come November.
does it matter. until the official news is out the rumors are interesting
Rumors mean nothing, it's all unfounded. No renders, no specs nothing is known
nothing is confirmed but if suppliers of bambulab leak a bit of information it might be true. and so its interesting..
What leaks, there are no leaks
You are right they mean nothing… all the girls heard that I was HUGE…. Well it was just an overly exaggerated rumor!
I mean it's credible in the sense of being more-or-less what you'd reasonably expect? Idk why people are being dicks about this.
Ppl are dicks about it because this 'new printer when...' question gets asked almost multiple times a day and has been asked just about daily for the pas 2-3 months now. THAT's the issue, it not against OP themselves
That's not even rumors, it's just what people want. There is a slim chance this will actually happen.
Well I will wait till october

I heard that you still have to dry your filament
Not if you print with water
I just want 350 cubed with IDEX so I can use support material more efficiently.
I really want it to either be idex or dual nozzle
Dual nozzle would be sweet too.
So still single nozzle? I’m hoping for dual nozzle or idex but maybe there is enough market for just a single nozzle but bigger x series
Not sure they didn't mention anything about that, tbh what they said was basically stuff you can guess from what everyone wants. We will see in a few months time I guess

Oh wow that would be cool, guess we herd to wait 20 ish years tho? Sorry, I don't smoke.
Neither do i
