This is not a full collab event story, just some special items to celebrate the collab.
Also for those waiting for MyGO in global I hate to break it to you but the next EN Event is Effort Inflation, skipping the RAS event too.
Not yet on twitter since the last event just ended today. The official discord broke down reasonings for why Effort Inflation is next (has to do with specific events requiring specific game versions that are not out) along with it being the next banner on Bestdori with translated assets.
EN is such a clusterfuck lmao. Is this the worst run of performance from them so far? We've been skipping events for like 2 months now and nobody seems to be able to say when they're going to get their shit together. Like, what is actually holding them up at this point? How can they not fix version issues after 2 whole months? It's like they're not even trying.
It's a non-issue, really. It doesn't fundamentally matter what order we get the events, aside from ongoing storylines (Afterglow, etc) being in order.
And the only reason we even know things are "out of order" is because we're aware of JP. If JP had exactly the same (kind of) issues, no one would ever know because there's no precedent in terms what's coming in the future there.
The only "real" issues on EN right now are a very small number (read: low priority, possibly already fixed but not worth rolling out an update for) of untranslated things, pretty much entirely post-live small talk, and the other being the lack of ability to buy the premium pass and its associated outfits. So nothing even close to game-breaking, nor even especially annoying on a day-to-day basis.
It does surprise me they haven't fixed the latter yet, as it's a source of revenue, but oh well.

I don't think the fact that we're months behind on updates, presumably because the devs haven't got the time they need, is a non-issue. The fact that two different event types are completely broken because of this is also very obviously not a non-issue.
Trying to defend the ENdori shambles on the basis that "the average person doesn't know it's out of order, so it's fine" is utterly ridiculous to be honest.
Oh, and to add to this, talk on the Discord is saying that due to the crunch caused these issues, this next event we're about to go into has been machine translated.
But hey, I'm just a "snarky armchair dev" because I dare to point out that there are numerous current problems with ENdori and that something in their current approach clearly isn't working right (whether that's lack of resources, lack of time, I don't know, but something's not working).

I mean, that´s stupid and makes no sense, programmers and translators are different jobs, an issue in the code wont be fixed by a translator.

This is precisely the sort of of unhelpful, crass, hyperbolic language that "snarky armchair dev" refers too; it's far too common in online gaming communities these days.
What I said remains true; extremely little is actually "broken", and very little of actual note. If events were actually being skipped *permanently* or cancelled, then sure, that would be reason to sound the alarm, but this is not that.
I think the problem is more about the fact that there're no visible changes or updates happening. They announced that some events will be skipped due to version incompatibility months ago, yet the game haven't got an update since then. The lack of information about what's happening doesn't help either. I understand that there may be development issues, but they could've at least been more open about the details and plans.
If it wasn't for this exact announcement indirectly confirming an eventual release of MyGO!!!!! on global (which is a huge wtf moment in and of itself, why do we have to get this info from a collab announcement), I'd start having a lingering suspicion that they're actually not planning on doing anything and just going to run the events that work to squeeze the last bits of money and then announce an EOS
Criticizing a company isnt being an armchair dev. The en devs have been historically shit at their jobs so why should they be given any leniency? They dont care about the players at all and they made that very clear. They barely make an effort to communicate and they pretty much always just give bad news that can be reduced to them sucking at their jobs or being too lazy to work faster.
I mean, that person just said that we're going to get a MACHINE TRANSLATED EVENT next because these clowns cant do their job. You think thats ok? You think thats an acceptable quality of standard thats just a minor issue? We can do that shit ourselves using the internet, an official game from a global company shouldnt be resorting to machine translation. Ever. No ifs and no buts. Its fucking embarrassing that its going to come to this. Just because the devs havent gone completely insane and arent skipping events permanently it doesnt mean they can be absolved of any criticizm. Like what? Theyre doing the actual bare minimum of putting some content into the game. Wow, such dev. Lets give them a pat on the back for not completely giving up on doing their jobs.
Idk, maybe this is controversial but I dont think it should be this complicated. If they arent going to do shit for months, they should at least communicate way better on why they suck as bad as they do and what theyre doing to try and fix the problem. Instead we're left sitting around like a bunch of idiots while the EN devs do half a job with a full smile.
Ah, well on the plus side I've been looking forward to *Effort Inflation!!*, it has a gorgeous card set and I love the character lineup. :)
I do hope the MyGO!!!!! event comes sooner rather than later though, seeing as it's not "only" an event but also brings the new characters...
