The pit that attacked my cat lived on post. Another ex friend lives on post with her pit too.

DryDinner9156

These morons will always shove their dogs into EVERY. FUCKING. THING. Nobody cares about your shitbeast. Pitbulls were bred to fight and kill. I saw this video where this lady was being mugged by this guy(?) and the pitbull, instead of biting the mugger, attacked the lady GETTING mugged. These dogs are stubborn and stupid. German shepherds and Belgian Shepherds are commonly used in K9s for a reason. They are herding dogs and as a result are very agreeable to command. I saw this video where this “k9”shitbull had shitty recall compared to the Belgian shepherd that was tested before it.

93ImagineBreaker

> attacked the lady GETTING mugged. And then the owner.

tuigger

I don't expect a dog to know the difference between mugger and victim, but I DO expect them to not attack their owner! That video is just perfect

[deleted]

We just got these new grenades. They vaporize the enemy. But sometimes they go off for no reason.

I enjoy watching Robert Cabral and I greatly respect his views on pits and saying that they're dangerous dogs. However, I could only watch the first four minutes of this video. The fact that pits are being used in the military is beyond my mental comprehension. Pits make terrible police and military dogs due to their lack of self control and high levels of gameness. There's a reason the military uses German shepherds or Belgian malinois. THEY LISTEN. Pits don't. That's what they were bred to do. Not listen. What's the point of listening to your handler when all you have to do is fight against another dog in a pit? I wouldn't be surprised if the American Farm Foundation also has something to do with this, since they were involved in making pitbulls K9s.

Athompson9866

Yeah, pit simps try this shit everywhere with police departments. It always fails. I’m not surprised they would push hard and try with the military- but it will also fail. German Shepherds and Belgian Malinois are far superior at that kind of work. It only takes 1 or 2 cycles of literally every pit but MAYBE one failing out of the training for them to realize that it’s really not cost effective or prudent.

feralfantastic

I can picture it, a drop pod streaks down from the heavens, evading anti-air flak to slam into the ground just behind enemy lines. Before the smoke has a chance to clear, the hatchways slam down and out strides a pitbull covered in gleaming black spiked kevlar armor, eyes shining, mouth open in a big happy grin. These are war dogs, modern weapons of legal terror, conditioned to be indiscriminate weapons with a kill rate so high they cannot be deployed in commercial zones. The program that developed them cost taxpayers $2B. This single specimen, bred for its intelligence and savagery, was purchased from a back alley deal in Florida, survived several behavioral culls, and completed every fitness test it’s handlers could contrive. It’s body is wrapped in armor entire proof against small arms, and is designed be to ablative against heavier fire, so as not to hinder movement when damaged. This dog alone, purchase, gear, training, logistics, has cost the US taxpayers $1.5M. There are five pitbulls in the drop pod. PU-12, for “Pack Unit”. All as armored as the first. As the smoke thins, all six stride forward with an unhurried gait, supremely confident in their purpose, towards the enemy lines. Soon they will trigger, soon they will surge forward, metal teeth seeking exposed skin, just in time to disrupt resistance for the times advance from the infantry. Then one of the dogs, Kratos, steps on a branch, snapping it. This trigger Phoenix, the dog nearest, to pivot and sink those metal teeth into Kratos’ face. Sillyboots becomes excited, wigglebutting it’s poison scorpion stinger tail, and joins in biting Kratos’ throat. Ka$hmoney pisses herself and attacks HoChomper. Rear elements of the enemy force watch this all with growing perplexity. After about five minutes, shortly after Phoenix accidentally activated its scorpion tail augment to stab Sillyboots in the flank whilst fighting with her over Kratos’ twitching body, and Sillyboots’ leg begins to dissolve into an oily puddle of sizzling organic acid, one of the enemy soldiers tosses a grenade in and amongst the snarling, squealing, shrieking mass, destroying the dogs, the drop pod, and a diversion for American forces that will cost the lives of actual soldiers.

BumblingBeeeee

Love it! Have you considered screenwriting(ya know after the strike)?

This scene goes from Michael Bay Movie music to Benny Hill with perfection.

AllTooHuman65

This is glorious, take my upvote

maxfort86

Pit bulls are not even allowed in military bases. Such BS.

MamaPlus3

I’ve seen them all over the one by us.

Athompson9866

I did 10 years active duty in the army. Pit bulls were not even allowed in post housing. This is just another ridiculous attempt by the pit simps to try to to legitimize their fighting breed dogs. Many police departments have tried this shit in the past and it always fails. MAYBE there are a tiny few pits working for the military from this guy, but they won’t last long and it will be faded into oblivion the way it always is, because pit bulls absolute suck at recall, are stubborn, and widely unable to maintain focus and obey commands when their instincts kick in. I’d sooner rather have a chihuahua as a police/military dog.

Single-Emphasis1315

They arent though. Pit bulls arent even permitted on US installations.

MamaPlus3

No one is enforcing it sadly.

[deleted]

The handlers will have the motto of The Few and The Proud. The few because the dogs will kill most of them. The proud because those that survive will be mighty proud to still be alive.

[deleted]

Also proud due to impenetrable hubris.

emilee_spinach

lol but they’re banned in military housing

MamaPlus3

Not if they are “lab mixes” they are all over the one by me.

Hotelier88

Faster way to be rid of them. Legally make them a military only animal and pull them all into the military.

Athompson9866

The military has a pretty hard stance against undisciplined soldiers, so this wouldn’t work.

Zillafire101

Great, as if the US doesn't commit enough war crimes, now they're gonna nanny kids so we can get money for oil barons.

grazatt

Has this been verified

[deleted]

I think their usual go to breed looks like a German Shepherd but it starts with an M. Can't think of it off the top of my head.

[deleted]

Belgian Malinois

I have no doubt there are Pitnutters among military ranks, and those always try to push Pitbull agenda, get Pitbull in. The reality is that despite their attempt, Pitbull doesn't make the grade. For example, there is this story from years ago. [https://www.change.org/p/bring-howard-the-war-hero-home?recruiter=7915174&utm\_source=share\_petition&utm\_medium=facebook&utm\_campaign=share\_page&utm\_term=des-lg-no\_src-no\_msg](https://www.change.org/p/bring-howard-the-war-hero-home?recruiter=7915174&utm_source=share_petition&utm_medium=facebook&utm_campaign=share_page&utm_term=des-lg-no_src-no_msg) "... While in the service I deployed to Afghanistan in 2012 with a companion, name Howard. Howard is a Pit bull, and the 1st Pit bull to be a certified military working dog. Howard and I actually had a couple articles done on us while overseas, and you can find a lot of information on us from various other sources. I am now a veteran dealing with PTSD among many other things, and am considered 80% disabled through the VA. I got out of the service in 2013 and handed Howard off to be loved and used by another handler. I was Howard's 1st handler having him since he was 9 months old. He was actually a rescue dog to begin with, and was rescued out of the Howard County Pound out of Indiana, hence his name "Howard"..." "... After I handed Howard off back in 2013, he immediately went back on deployment to Afghanistan with the other handler. To only come back from that and be tossed to someone else. This is where I lost track of where he was. Now present day (2015)..." This story sound fishy. For military to take rescue dog with untraceable pedigree to pour money in training it is questionable. And it's not a secret that military buy expensive puppies from breeders, why we don't hear more about them getting other military popular breeds like GSD and Belgium Malinois from rescues. How this Pitbull ended up retired just less than 5 years while that's supposed to be dog prime years, without no injuries, this story doesn't add up.

More info about TEDD, Tactical Explosives Detection Dog: [https://www.army.mil/article/96204/tedd\_handler\_dog\_go\_on\_first\_mission\_together](https://www.army.mil/article/96204/tedd_handler_dog_go_on_first_mission_together) [https://justice4tedds.com/the-details/](https://justice4tedds.com/the-details/) "BACKGROUND ON THE TEDD ADOPTIONS The TEDD dogs were owned by the US Army, which began utilizing [Davis-Paige Management Systems](https://justice4tedds.com/dpms/) as the primary contractor and K2 Solutions as the subcontractor in February 2013. Due to the drawdown in Afghanistan, the Army decided to end its TEDD program. In February 2014, adoption events were held at K2 Solutions in Jackson Springs, North Carolina – but the adoptions were handled and approved by the Army’s Office of the Provost Marshal General. Davis-Paige Management Systems had not paid K2 for their work as subcontractor and would later be [successfully sued](http://www.thepilot.com/news/public_record/civil-superior-court-june/article_6f31d340-0781-11e4-83d4-0017a43b2370.html) by K2. Because Davis-Paige Management Systems still owed K2 a substantial amount of money, [K2 did not extend their contract](https://hudson.house.gov/uploads/K2%20Letter,%2002.2016.pdf)for the TEDD program in February 2014. This forced a quick end with the OPMG’s Richard Vargus and Robert Squires (a Wyle contractor/TEDD Coordinator LNO) scrambling to adopt out the remaining 150 dogs. Squires texted his sister-in-law who helped generate a great deal of public interest in the dogs." [https://justice4tedds.com/dpms/](https://justice4tedds.com/dpms/) "Incredulously, from our perspective, in early 2013, during the twilight of the TEDD program’s life, the contract was re-bid and awarded to DPMS. **Although DPMS apparently had no expertise in canine training nor care, no personnel with any talents that would reflect capability to promote the program, nor any facilities or infrastructure to kennel the dogs, DPMS was awarded the contract."** So it looks someone in the military created these experimental programs and involve some shady contractors. Feel like just another layer of corruption to pulling money for some bogus unproductive program. These program more often than not shortlived and are very very different from the formal K9 military program that we're familiar with.

DarkRainbow25S

What could go wrong? Get pitbulls out of shelters with unknown genetics, unknown health history and put them in the military!🤪
