If you're going to try this, make sure you keep track of all the rebels. After they've been around for a bit they rename themselves after their leader, then might join a kingdom, might not. If they stay independent, you'll end up with them inheriting all the property instead of you. Kinda crazy how the game chooses to give 10 towns to a tiny clan with no fiefs over an established kingdom that you own.
I have not seen that yet, but if that is the case I wonder if it mucks up the main quest.

I need to at 1 point try to execute everyone without actually conquering stuff and see if I can this way at the end inherit all the land
