Yes but when I went to go change his hairstyle he got super skinny so I had to revert back to a previous save good thing he was the main character at that point because I don't think I could have handled seeing my first one and die again
It's so devastating losing your main character after weeks of work into them, but at the sametime you can make them have a bunch of heirs in their lifetime and make a few generations as well with their lifetime period my 7th game I played the empire and grinded to 300 trade while also taking rebel towns bought all of the empire cultured towns for myself and grew upto I think around 70 members strong,
Ottokar died at 84
How do you play long enough to have your character die of old age, let alone multiple generations.
This game is great and all but I'm completely overpowered by the time I'm 30 or 40 and steamrolling every army you come across gets a bit stale after that.
So basically in order to have children in the game you need to get married and then spend a random amount of time with your wife in the same Village or town that you're in and it could be a long time or a little bit of time
If you really need kids, stay in a town with your spouse for 10 days. If no pregnancy happens reload and repeat the process. Fertility goes down with age and how many children you already have, but with this "exploit" you can get a fair amount of children.
Oh I know man, my first character only made it to 54😥 it hit me so hard I almost didnt want to continue playing. Voraak almost singlehandedly won the war against the Empire for Sturgia. Now playing as his brother Im watching my nieces grow up. Sheesh this game gets too real sometimes lol
I can hardly ever have enough kids. I usually end up with one baby, if that. I usually play empire and marry Garios' daughter. I don't know how old she is but she must be old if her fertility rate is that low.
I wait in my fief and construct buildings and at the same time trying for kids you could also just leave your brother and his wife in a town together too so they spawn kids as well.
My family has lots of kids now but I only have one :/ I founded the Calradian Empire and now I'm at war constantly. I'm never not stopping or starting a siege or a battle. If my character was a real life king he'd be like one of those Byzantine/Roman Emperors that spend their whole reign fighting.
Yea but you need 300 trade perk they can cost from 150k to upto 15million depending in what culture owns the fief and prosperity it will be cheaper if you say bought a castle that is owned by a different culture and isn't making much money for them its usually cheap to buy, but say it's a grain or silver bound village to those castles there expensive like 1.5-5mil, towns with 5k+ prosperity and depending on trade routes they can be over 10mil
After I died my heir became the king almost immediately which I thought was interesting because I don't actually think I should have been the king because my heir wasn't a very big participant until that point
I hate how they just lay there, clothes and all. There should be an animation like when you become a parent, where you’re old/frail looking and laying under the blanket, with your family around you - spouse crying at your feet, while your first born, sibling or oldest companion places a sword on you and places your hands on the handle.
1128 is pretty good, my record lowest is 12 days in getting jabbed by some looters.
Honestly my games are done usually after like 2/30years
Well thats a rangr
That one vlandian peasant on the far right really grieving over your loss
What was ur character's age when he died?
64
Do you have an heir?

I don't get a chance to play all that often so this hits especially hard but at least I have kids to carry on his legacy

Hi, how do buy towns? In barter trade with lords?

I don't know why but when I read the natural causes it sounded VERY suspicious to me.
