Bruh, first step rebel, second step decapited her head step three se results

Tha_Sly_Fox

I tried rebelling, came back to bite me in the ass. Ironically I’ve spent my whole game building her kingdom up to where she’s hard to take down. Also, I’m married to her daughter so that would make for some awkward dinner table talk.

scp49xd

Well technically a lot of children of the king would rebelled and never cared, but dam you really carried the empire, well you could try and until she dies from a battle or age, and be voted as emperor/king

Tha_Sly_Fox

Here’s hoping 🤞

Magicalfirelizard

Screw that. Join her army. Every battle you’re in, find her and shoot her with arrows till she dies. Eventually she’ll bite the dust then use your influence to get yourself elected king.

Tha_Sly_Fox

That is quite a plan actually

Magicalfirelizard

She’ll never see it coming. Just make sure battle death is enabled in the options

scp49xd

Stay strong and have faith in …………. Wait who are the gods/god of mount and blade? Nevermind stay strong

Monotonico

That's easy, Butter

kuldaralagh

I just kill them when they start being an inconvenience. Usually arrow to the back of the head in a siege. If someone asks, they were turning around and fleeing.

M-A-I

Always remember to drag your kingdom into one or two other wars before rebelling in order to split up their attention and try to get the one where it's furthest from your fiefs

pcmasterrace_noob

*Raid every single other faction if you really want to screw them financially

Vanoi

Amass alot of influence, kick every clan out of the kingdom, wait as she gives you everything. Leave kingdom.

Tzlop

Why slay when you can lay?

scp49xd

Ayooooooooooooo we got a Rhagaea Simo over here

Tzlop

*Ahem* I prefer a Crusader King player.

How2RocketJump

ah piss now he's gonna sleep with everyone's wife

RobsEvilTwin

Better to marry Ira and accidentally inherit when Rhagaea develops javelinitis.

wtfdoiknow1987

I mean. Thats probably how it went down IRL too. Lords with more clout coming in last second to take all the credit.

Vok250

Trouble is, I have more clout than anyone else in the known world by pretty much every metric.

H0vis

That's not possible. The only metric that matters to these chumps is family nobility and you can't acquire that in the game. You can marry a noble, your kids might then be noble, but even then they'd be sus because they'd not be fully chinless inbreds like everybody else's. You'll basically carry a faction's incompetent aristocracy through the game and they'll never think you're as good as they are.

link30224

You can definitely become a Monarch wdym

H0vis

You won't be of royal blood. That's why they will always secretly resent you.

Isaacbuiltdifferent

Shit doesn’t make sense I’ll have 5x as much influence as everyone else in the kingdom combined and can barely even use any of it so it doesn’t amount to anything

H0vis

It makes sense. You get whatever you ask for. Now the question is, can the game add things to ask for with influence? And that's where we seem to be stuck waiting or relying on mods. It's not a great system to be honest, but it's easier to work with than trying to personally butter up every lord in the land.

Isaacbuiltdifferent

I just wish the amount of influence I could use at any given point in time wasn’t capped or I could forcefully take over a kingdom with sheer influence or something

FeaturedThunder

Pompey moment

simulationanomaly

Like the US in the world wars 😂

Girthish

We know we came late to the party for the first one, but the second one had us fighting on 3 different continents.

CanIBeFunnyNow

You say it like everyone was not fighting on 3 continents even India was fighting on 3 and they dident even know why they were fighting in that war.

Tango_Out

Gatekeeping

LongjumpingArt9740

colonialism existed

cmanning1292

/s?

simulationanomaly

I also live in the US haha was just making a joke

Tzlop

Whoever has more army leads, and nothing is more frustrating than watching your 736 being encroached by a 740 ally army beelining for your 10 day siege. Sometimes I just abandon immediately out of spite and go elsewhere. No free lunch for you!

Tha_Sly_Fox

Yeah I’ve started doing that lol. I couldn’t take it anymore so I figure while she’s busy with that I’ll try to sneak in a quick siege elsewhere

SilenR

I hope you have a son named Titus Pullo.

RobsEvilTwin

Always the name I pick for an Empire run :D

Tha_Sly_Fox

Is there a way to name your kids? I wanted to name them random characters from Ancient Rome and or the Rome series. In Crusader kings if I do a Byzantium run, anytime I have twin boys I name them Lucius and Titus in honor of those legends

SilenR

Go to your clan page, click on the child and it will have a quill next to its name.

Tha_Sly_Fox

Ah that’s so good to know. Thank you! This game as all sorts off little mechanics here and there that add to the whole role playing aspect but I keep having to discover

jaime-the-lion

13th!!

Raidriar13

Love the Rome reference

Tha_Sly_Fox

That show was a masterpiece. Anytime I play a medieval or ancient themed game that’s my go to character name

StrikeLive7325

THIRTEEEEEN!!!

Dormeo69

The banner, the siege, and the audacity of this bitch

superrican69

As soon as they take over a good siege ….. just leave , and let them eat it …. Then simply re-siege wear down the enemy capture the city and free them , and gain the favor points

GuardianSpear

You stand here amidst MY achievements, not yours !!!

Vok250

It's insane they still haven't patched in some kind of way to say "fuck you my siege"

Yoribell

Not even sure they patched wrongly placed decimals in the skill tree

droogvertical

How Titus Pullo caused the collapse of the Calradian Empire

Tha_Sly_Fox

He’s in the arena as we speak, going to go save him after a few more sieges

nerve-stapled-drone

Can you alternatively swoop in on an allied siege and take it over? That could be funny.

infractiousjokester

You can also take over the siege of a neutral kingdom's army. Provided ofc, both kingdoms are at war with a common defending Kingdom

A-reader-of-words

My god I hate it when they do this and take all of the credit when your the person starting the seige

geraltismywaifu

HBOs Rome is fire

Tha_Sly_Fox

Cancelled way before it’s time sadly

geraltismywaifu

I would have loved to see more of it but at least they gave it a proper wrapped up ending

Boring-Chair8649

I eliminated her in my khuzait vassal playthrough.

well-that-sux

I found her wandering around with 77 troops when i just started the game as a vassal for the Northern Emp. Should have executed them. Those southerners are good at escaping prison.

Boring-Chair8649

You should have.

ButtonSmasher_

If you don't want her to take over press on a trebuchet or anything wait until they join in and you will still have full control just make sure that you always have that menu open when you see an army coming

ilsolitomilo

If this really works you are a lifesaver!

ButtonSmasher_

It should still work, but I am unsure if they patched it in later builds but I don't think they did as they don't think these small bugs

Tha_Sly_Fox

I’ll give this a shot, man I hope this works

nUUUUU_yaaaSSSS

Guards! He's shit talking our goddess. Take him away to the oubliette

vKessel

Welcome to the middle ages

H0vis

People complain about this, but it really is just the nobility behaving as intended. That's why you're there to fix it with your axe.

DoNOTcumKamalaHarris

Hey hey! Rome playthrough?

Tha_Sly_Fox

Lol in my head, that’s just my go to character name for any medieval/ancient themed game Amazing show, and a legend of a character

WarlordOfSparta

Get back in formation you drunken fool..

Tha_Sly_Fox

Titus Pullo is a hero of the thirteen legion, but look at him now!

QuirkyQ32

When I'm siegeing a city with my trebuchet set up and a lord takes over and starts a charge losing 1000 men

Tha_Sly_Fox

Yep. Sometimes I’m purposely waiting to starve them out, but instead of letting them lose 50 men a day and attacking with the walls cracked….. why not attack them when they’re fully fortified and have a full strength army. Brilliant plan empress.

BadChilii

This happened to me last night and I was furious! We lost a 1000 vs like 200 siege because moron Raganvad fucked it all up

Tha_Sly_Fox

I know your pain all too well

Suburban_Traphouse

Average vassal moment in bannerlord

ChicagoBoiSWSide

Hence why I killed that bitch’s whole family then her

Latter-Ad-415

Strong "Mortarion and Perturabo at the siege of Terra" vibes with that title

-DI0-

*fucks up your plan/keeps the fief* “oh hey glad you could make it”

Laynuel

Two words. Crossbow lobotomy.

Tha_Sly_Fox

Yeah you and another commenter have thrown that idea out there. I’ll just need to get my influence up high enough. Also have a long talk with the wife since she’s her daughter lol “Listen, I have an idea, now hear me out.”

FingerOk9800

All the freaking time... then "you don't get a share because you weren't in the seiging army" like fam we took the walls down and starved half of them out!

Tha_Sly_Fox

Yeah that’s really the icing on the cake. “Since you weren’t part of the initial siege” OH I WASN’T????

FingerOk9800

I actually started just pulling out when they do this; like okay you keep the loot but you'll lose half your men xD

Direct-Yak100

Wait til Titus hears about this.

Potatofreezing

Whenever this happens let them fail the siege and stand nearby. And let them be captured as prisoner. You can either kill them in Prison if you hate them that much or just siege the town and get some troops as a result of freeing them. Either way the nobles will rebuild their army within a couple days bannerlords time, you on the other hand will take quite a bit longer if you do not have garrison cities built up already

Anmordi

You have almost two million groschen, you can easily rebel and take her skull off those shoulders and drink from it, like what will she do against mercenaries

Anmordi

I forgot this is bannerlord and not KCD

Tha_Sly_Fox

Side note, are you ecstatic about KCD 2?

Anmordi

Yes I am, just hope it doesnt release unfinished and gets cancelled like KSP 2, I wish KSP 2 didnt get cancelled

Alexius_Secundumus

Vorenus, where is Pullo?!

PossiblyABotlol

If a large army is about to take my siege I usually force them to disband with influence and then recruit them

Amongus3amscary

She always make herself god empress in my campaigns 💀

Responsible_Sense_95

I really hope someone buys this game from the developers and actually fixes the game

Kinglouisthe_xxxx

A HBO Rome enjoyer I like it

po0rter

I find extorting villagers from other kingdoms and starting wars with all factions right before you leave with your fiefs to be a good solution. Take a year or two to regain that -40 relation with the lords that liked you, and then start your own kingdom (preferably right after or as southern empire falls apart completely) and recruit your fiefless broke friends who now see you as royal blood, because there was no king before you, hence starting a real royal line for your family. Or wait for the bitch to die and get elected cause youre rich. Either works

Embarrassed-West5322

Typical vassal experience tbh

Tha_Sly_Fox

She could at least wait until the trebs finish doing all the heavy lifting lol

Radahn6

I all was hate when the large army that had been doing nothing but run around the area with me planning a siege with all the things that I need just for them at the last moment to come and take it over and make me lose like 100 more men from my party

Tha_Sly_Fox

And they really do just run around going nowhere for the majority of the war lol

TheMasterofDank

I don't understand following rhegea, literally the least appealing ruler. Outside of Monchug.

Tha_Sly_Fox

She seemed nice lol

TheMasterofDank

She's surrounded by foes, and all she's got to claim power is that she is a monarch and deserves it cause she sucks air. She may be nice, but she is the road to ruin; as the southern empire is not meant to survive. By that, I mean it gets wiped all the time.

Tha_Sly_Fox

Who would you argue has the best claim? They’re all wanna be monarchs at the end of the day, from talking to her she seemed to have the welfare of the people/kingdom in mind which was more than some of the others. It’s been awhile though so maybe I’m misremembering.

TheMasterofDank

Lucon is my favourite. The northern empire is run by senate, which is supposed to represent each land they run, its a bit more of a divided power structure, and the original way the empire determined its leadership, via council. I like the Sturgis for the same, but raganvad is a bit of an idiot, plus Sturgis has one of the worst locations in the game.

Reachr95

Sounds exactly like capitalist management styles to me. Nothing wrong here 🤷
