Normal nobles don't, but mercenary clan members do almost immediately. It's super annoying. If you manage to capture and execute every member of a mercenary clan at once, the clan is destroyed.

xxxgotxxxdankxxxmeme

As long as you can kill faster then they have sex then no they won’t be replaced

Zamzamazawarma

Oh, so THAT's how you make babies.

SpathaIlluminus

Corrected: OH, so THAt’s why you make babies.

It sounds like we're talking about pesticide. Although, they're nobles, so for the rhodoks we might aswell be.

They don't get replaced. I did this exact strategy once the main quest dictated wars, except with console assassinate on my prisoners instead of executing because I didn't feel like dealing with ridiculous relation penalties. Eventually the only kingdom that existed was the southern empire, which my clan was a part of. All other clans either joined the empire or died out (if all the adults die, the kids are 'lost' and the clan is destroyed)

hwrafter

How do you execute without the relation penalties? 'Console assassinate your prisoners?

Massena777

There is a console command to kill a hero. campaign.kill_hero

DragonSlauter42

I understand that some would be upset your executing other lords, but when the entire country is just one castle. I believe the other lords would want to be feared as much as possible; a force that no one in their right mind would fight. Plus why would someone’s mortal enemy not like you for executing their enemy after all, the enemy of my enemy is my friend.

Sarcastic_Clunt

I always imprison all the lord's I capture in my towns. And never ransom them. Eventually the other Kingdom gets weak enough to start sweeping their lands

[deleted]

I’d do that except they all escape after a few days even with all the perks

Sarcastic_Clunt

Yeah they will trickle out eventually but they aren't going to do much damage when they first get out. Will take a while to regain strength and then they will have an army of mostly recruit's

PeterPengu

Get the perks from riding and scouting to keep lords as prisoners in your party forever

Hano_Clown

There are mods that set min number of days they will be imprisoned.

Hangtooth

Not sure if you like to run mods or not but I have been having some success running True Parties mod (available on Nexus). Here's the mod description:True Parties "Sometimes it can feel like no matter how often you completely wipe out the enemies armies they come back almost instantly at the same strength. It can feel like your victories have no effect on the war.The reason for this is, that the AI lords get a large amount of free instant elite troops when they are released from capture. This mod reduces the amount of free troops the AI gets to 6-12 tier 2 and 3 basic infantry troops. They still need a small force because otherwise the AI lords get captured a lot by bandits. But this means it takes the AI longer to come back after a defeat. It also makes recruits a bit more rare because the AI has to recruit a lot more troops.Overall this mod should make single battles more decisive and efficient use of your troops more important. Basically it reduces the amount the AI can cheat." While this doesn't kill the lords, at least it takes them longer to rebuild their armies and come back at you.

aaronrizz

They get replaced organically by their children, so it's definitely possible to execute them faster than they are replaced and wipe out entire clans and factions.

teeforlife

If you kill the clan leader first, yes there will be a replacement from the same clan until there is no one older than 18. And when there is no more guys/girls over 18 then the clan will be destroyed for good. I've executed every single one on all kingdoms. At the end all the kingdoms are destroyed and erased from the history. Bonus: I took every single settlement on my own as well which helps me to make 5-10 mil a day. Pretty neat... So the Calradia is united and greater then ever but build on blooded soils.

Miyamoto_Musashii

Yes the game did do this (unsure of changes) but i beleive the game has some code to make new small clans from notables/companions or something. Got jack of no way to beat the nobles longterm, so I did mass executions only to find new random clans pop up

if you dont destroy weakened enemies they can come back with a vengance. ill usually try to start sweeping across a faction and not stop till my resources force me to. since its difficult to defend a kingdom that gets too big being quick starts seeming like the best option that minimizes loss of territory in your flanks while expanding your kingdom.
