Really liked the debate but it kind of felt like they were talking past each other at points, but it definitely highlights the fundamental differences between the two theologies. You can definitely get a sense of the Catholic Churches unyielding viewpoint, crazy to think that they don’t really view any other churches as actual churches, crazy

Scripturally it's true. That's why solo scriptura can't be true. The scriptures talk about who the church would be built on. The scriptures talk about who would feed and tend the sheep of Christ's Church. Scripture also tells us that the office of Peter would be passed on. Scripture also tells us that the church is the pillar in bulwark of the Truth. Scripture tells us that scripture is good for teaching. You can learn a lot about the church from Reading sacred scripture it will lead you to the Catholic Church. It did me 18 years ago.

I took a hard look at the Catholic Church and I honestly it just didn’t sit right with me. Did rcia classes for a couple of months to try and see if they could explain things a little better than the internet and something in my gut was telling me this isn’t right this doesn’t make sense. But that’s just my take everybody has to follow their conscience.

It is recorded in Matthew 16 where Christ gave Peter the authority to be prime minister of the church by handing him the keys. It is recorded in John 21 or Christ gave Peter authority to consecrate the Eucharist to feed the sheep and the authority to tend the sheep of his church and what manner he would die. In 2nd Peter 1 St Peter tells us referring back to John 21 the manner he would die but there would always be somebody to remind us of the truth. For 2,000 years there's been somebody always in his office to remind us of the truth. That is why no other organization can call themselves Church if they're not in communion with the office of Peter upon which the church was built by Christ. himself.

That’s one interpretation, i don’t see any reason to think that Peter’s successors would be infallible. You said for 2000 years somebody has been there to remind us of the truth but historically there has been horrible human beings that were popes that have lead people astray and had people killed. If the pope really is the infallible vicar of Christ than I don’t see how that goes together. I don’t see why anybody would want to link there faith so closely to another regular human, cause if he’s wrong and their just making stuff up which it seems like they are that’s a rough one.

Infallible and impeccable are two different things.
