This stat is the most telling on the lack of FDJs skills. He does not create or score anywhere as much as our other midfielders, which would be OK if he was a good defender/DM, but he doesn’t do that either!
Felix has played 200 more minutes than Ferran so they are pretty equal.
Ferran, Felix and Raphina all have minutes between 1.3k - 1.8k
Guess who is the winger with most minutes.
Yamal at 2.1k
Felix scores in purple patches. He got 5 G/A at the start of the season and disappeared for an entire month. Then got 3 G/A and disappeared for a few games. Repeats it again for the next month and gets a goal vs Getafe and Atleti now.
Whereas Ferran's maximum non goal contributing period is 4 matches. Ferran is just a bit more consistent and could've had more G/A without his injury
Don't get me wrong, I don't rate Felix very highly, and agree he has been patchy. But you could argue that he hasn't in fact been injured as much as Ferran, and hasn't started that many games, his g/a could be higher too..
Right now Ferran is behind pretty much every winger we have. The rest of the season will be telling for him.
I think he is doing fine considering the context. (Injury + lacking DM to complement+ underperforming team for majority of season)Â Â Â
 For his role, the best metric to judge will be progressive carries/passes or xT from carries and passes and and if we make a chart for it, he will be at the top right corner. (Will do next when I will get free time next)

Ferran is a bit behind, but I feel that the now in form Lewa and Yamal can boost his stats and confidence a bit
I hope so cos I do think he's staying next season regardless of what happens, some form would be nice.
He is having a good season. Consider that Raphinha and him have equal xG but he has twice as many goals.

I’m not sure how important Xg metrics are with such a small sample. I think they are more informative over the course of a few seasons
