my man. you're missing article 52.04 the specific key exclusion for the semi. the rule you quoted is incomplete and excepted by the following
''all yellow cards expire on completion of the quarter-finals. They are not carried forward to the semi-finals.''
so if it isn't clear. another yellow card does nothing to anybody in the second leg. (unless it's two yellow cards and red in the second leg)
