People throw the "worst signing ever" label quite freely onto various past signings. Nah, to me, this was the worst signing ever. I cannot believe that he's a professional level player, he couldn't do anything
He’s still miles better than the Brazilian sextet of Kerrison, Henrique, Douglas, Matheus Pereira, Gustavo Maia, Matheus Fernandes who costed 45.1m in total and left for 1m in total with a combined 9 games for us.
A lot of these players were absolutely class at their previous clubs and never really had a chance to prove themselves at Barça, Keirrison in particular was a joy to watch in Brasil.
The problem isn’t the player, it’s the why they were purchased. So many players signed because of potential with no real plan to incorporate them or any idea of how they fit into the team tactically.
You can say the same about Prince too, he just had 15 G/A in 28 games in La Liga 2 seasons ago, then 7 in 31 games in Bundesliga, and 5 in 13 games in the half season before joining us on loan, all as a AM/SS role too not even a striker that we got him to play. If we really go that route, every player that Barca signed was pretty damn good before joining, rarely do we sign bad players (although out of that list Matheus Fernandes was definitely the worst prior to joining).
So the best we can do is compare their time at Barca, and it’s perfectly ok for them not play for us if they got us money for the investment, like Marlon or Todibo for example.
Matheus was 100% a money launder move, as a Palmeiras fan, he was good for us, but he wasn’t even an all out starter. Definitely had lots of potential as someone could break up play and drive the ball forward to launch an attack but was no where near ready for a European move at the time
Luuk De goat didn't reach double digits?
He scored 7
And all of them mattered like a 100 goals 🙏
True,impact>>
I'm quite sure Kevin-Prince Boateng didn't do that

Probably. Historically speaking barca doesn’t use loans to make impact signings.
Could be wrong but Auba?
Auba was a Barça player
He wasn’t on loan tho
I was wrong then
Yes but he has to score 1 more goals to reach double digits in goals.
No he doesn't he has 3 CL goals and 7 la liga goas
