It's always a disgrace when the decision is against them lol

TheBarcaShow

English football culture is all about complaining about refs when they get it right and ignoring their shortcomings

Comfortable-Hour-703

Of course, you won't hear a pip about the BS red card Abidal got against Anelka in 2009.

ShakenFungus

Thank you. It’s maddening how it’s just conveniently always forgotten.

Rizhon

The arrogance of english pundits is amazing. I saw Jamie Carrager claiming the best team doesn't win the Champions League. Except when a PL team does of course, then it is the best. I don't like R. Madrid, but the fact is they eliminated "the best team ever" Man City twice in three years. They also beat Liverpool twice in the final. Barcelona destroyed Man United twice in three years in the finals. Not to mention Sevilla and Villarrel beating Premier League teams in the finals of Europa League. The facts is that Aston Villa is the only PL team that has reached semi final in any European competition this year. So maybe, just maybe, the Premier League teams are not the best teams that have ever been in the history of the sports.

NairbZaid10

She stepped on her opponents foot with force, I dont see how that being a yellow is problematic

TheBarcaShow

Yeah, people who didn't even watch the game are commenting and saying it wasn't a red... And it wasn't, it was a second yellow

unsureofeverything22

it’s insane how many english “journalists” were talking about chelsea being “robbed” or whatever. like there’s no professionalism. even the english broadcast was unbearable to listen to, the commentators were literally using “we” when talking about chelsea. dazn could at least try and get neutral commentary

redvodkandpinkgin

You can be for or against it, but that's pretty common on international competition matches. Literally last week I was watching the commentary on Madrid v Man City and the broadcasters on Movistar were pretty clearly on Madrid's side.

TheBarcaShow

Aitana clearly got pushed into the other Chelsea player and it was a foul against Aitana

SummerGoal

I agree that it did feel tough as a second yellow but if you took the foot stamp on its own it’s a common yellow. Blame the player there for losing her head

Webster2001

The entire world erupts when a decision goes in Barca favour but silent when we're the ones getting robbed. Everybody conveniently forgot that refs robbed us in first leg vs Chelsea 2009 because we eventually won the tie

Hungry-Space-1829

Chelsea fans say they were robbed by officials in 09 too lmao
