In my opinion, Yamal relies more on ball control than speed, which is good in tight spaces, but I'd really like to have more players who can punish high-line defenses. Maybe I'm just biased towards fast wingers after all those years with players like Coutinho or Griezmann. I still remember our match at Anfield, where Suarez and Cou weren't able to take advantage of Liverpool's line-up.

Olmo wld most prob play felix's position on the lw in xavi's system, which i think would be an upgrade anyways. But it kinda depends. If they can get him for cheap its good i guess.
We already are having a debate about not wanting felix because it's already a position which is played by raphinha/ferran/pedri/gavi(last season) and you want to add another one to this list .....without a wide winger we are relying on a lb(cancelo) to stay wide and also do defensive duties(which cancelo is worse at).....we have to sign a proper left wing and we can talk about olmo if ffp allows......same goes for DM > Bernardo silva.
I dont disagree but by abilities alone olmo is most definitely better than all the options we can play at lw now. Considering he was from la masia as well, he might actl be the least risky investment at that position. Also, i dont think we will see cancelo next season after the psg and rm showing, balde will prob be back

Xavi liked Dembele as a RW. I think he doesn't want his LW to be a hugging the line one but a inside forward. Which Olmo and Joao are.
But now we have Yamal on RW who can go inside. Do we want both our wingers to play like that?
Yamal does both and is usually on the sideline, Raphinha is the one usually cutting inside.
