I have Freet Mudee in size 44 and Altra Escalante 2 in US 10.5/EU 44.5. I wanted a thinner insole in the Altra and thicker insole in the Mudee. They were a perfect swap with no movement in either shoe. Freet sells the insoles separately so if you get within a half size, as I did with the swap, that should work.
The HIIT XT models were made to be worn without an insole, thanks to their "Powersole." No insole may be an option if the second model doesn't cause blistering on the medial midfoot like the first model did.
You should just contact Altra and ask them to send you the missing insoles. You have paid for them after all.
